Omega Particles - Few Spawns

After the maintenance today, zones that often have plenty of particles (DS9, Drozana, Vulcan), have very few. I'm guessing this may have been a stealth correction to working as intended based on other zones (SB39, Andoria).
That said, bugs that have persisted since day one of the first Omega Event 2 or 3 years ago (minigame stops and only get 1 trace) are still there. (Also, I never once got sent to SB39 space or K7 at all, so guessing randomization is broken).
What gives? Seems odd to change anything with 2 days to go.
