in Star Trek Online General Discussion
I noticed some discussion about how the vast majority of characters are human or Vulcan. This puzzles me. What is your inventory of active character species?

    If we are thinking about the same discussion its point was "attractive to humans and thus as human as possible" i.e. rather Romulans instead of Remans for Republic players.

    I do not have any human PC. My KDF & SF mains are Aliengen; My AoY and another SF captain are Andorian, another KDF is Orion. My Delta-SF and another SF is also Aliengen. My Romulan is Romulan.

    But they all look like they could fill pages in a catalog as underwear models... except maybe the Romulan, he would be on the pages for a elderly (but still fit & buff) gentlemans fine attire. ;)

    Cool thread OP, ok let me see:

    FED: Human (main), Liberated Borg, Alien (Pah-wraith possessed mirror image of my main), Bajoran, Joined Trill, Klingon
    KDF: Alien (Suliban)
    ROM/FED: Alien (Suliban)
    ROM/KDF: Alien (Human looking future image of my main)
    AOY: Andorian

    I’d like to volunteer that if have had the option for more races I would probably made some of those instead of generating my four aliens. If they would have cost Zen this would not have been an issue as I demonstrated with my joined Trill and Starfleet Klingon. I would also buy re-species tokens if I could get a chance now and would pay up to 5k zen each. Same counts for re-career and re-gender tokens. All of which, even combined, is far cheaper for me than deleting a toon and starting from scratch lol.

    I have:
    A human, my first toon (because I didn't know any better)
    A klingon, for the KDF slot (because I still didn't know any better)
    An Alien, my main that I actually want to play
    Another Alien, for Delta Recruit
    Another human, for Temporal Recruit (because I wasn't allowed to pick Alien)

    If I could choose freely they'd all be Aliens.

    I wish we could have Deltan and Aenar as playable, as well as Iconians, both old and new, even if it is possible to make an Alien into an old Iconian. Romulans should also have the option to go RSE and be an independent faction with unique fleet holdings, items, and home base away from republicans and all other non-Rom toons.

    The freedom to make so many things with Aliens is great, but what would be better is if we can select or write in our own species designation (outside of existing playable species) alongside many more unique active and passive ground and space traits.

    But I´m going to have at least one Species (except Alien maybe) per Faction. So they will be some more someday.

    I'm a sucker for character creation. Right now my four Federation fleet admirals are a Human male, a Ferengi female and both a male and female Vulcan; my other Feds include a Betazoid female, an alien female and a Rigelian male.

    For the KDF I'm running a Klingon male Dahar Master and have a Joined Trill female and a Liberated Borg Klingon male too.

    For the Romulans, I've got both male and female admirals closing on fleet admiral status.
