    Yeah, I should have thought about this, when it comes to introducing new ships, they are always full priced when introduced during ship sales.

    Space Barbie Extraordinaire. Got a question about Space Barbie? Just ask.

    Things I want in STO:

    1) More character customization options such as more clothing options, letting the toon complexion affect the entire body, not just the head. Also a true RGB color picker applied to all costume and appearance options, which would allow for true appearance customization and homogenous colors instead of "this same exact color looks vastly different on two different pieces."
    2) Bridge customization, not bridge packs. Let us pick a general layout and adjust the color palette, console appearance, and chair types, as well as more ready room layout options.
    3) Customizable ground weapons, i.e. The aesthetic look of phaser dual pistols but they shoot antiproton bolts. For obvious reasons this would only apply to standard ground weapons.
    4) For the love of Q please revamp Plasma Ground Weapons. They look like demented Supersoakers right now.
    5) True Vanity Impulse and Deflector effects similar to Vanity Shields.
    6) A greater payout for hitting T6 Reputations. Currently it takes more time and resources to get from T5 to T6 than it does to get from nothing to T5. Make that grind really pay out at the end.
    7) Mirrorverse Refugee event similar to AoY/Delta/Gamma, complete with new Mirrorverse recruits for all factions.
    8) Independent Faction, because yo ho yo ho a pirate's life for me!

    Nice sale, I'm sure there are plenty of folks who will make use of it.

    Too bad I can't take advantage of it since the new Sci ships aren't included. Oh well, I'll get them on the next sale.

    Thanks a lot for not including the 3-bundle multi-mission ships, I will just have to wait longer now. :/

    Too bad about the T6 science bundle, if they were included I'd be buying them tonight :(

    Yeah i was going to be buying the Fed T6 Vesta 3 pack today......sorry no sale from me guys. That's disappointing to not even include them on an "opening day" sale price like other new releases. :|

    Oh for the love of Zeus...

    The fact that they're doing their Zen Charge weekend this weekend in addition to the release of these new ships means that whatever lack of opening weekend savings you are missing are most likely made up for by the increase in Zen when you charge.

    Those of us choosing carefully only buy Zen when on sale and only spend it when things are on sale. Double savings to get the most value.
    Guess this pack will just have to wait a while until it's on sale proper. I imagine a fair number of people who are savvy with their cash will do the same.

    It ia perfectly fine if someone chooses to wait to purchase something.

    That being said, the whole" If you had put them on sale, I would so buy them, etc etc" is such a douch way to say it.

    I will buy them as I got loads of empty dry docks to fill.

    How so? We are simply saying that we have money to spend, but not at this price. Cryptic is free to ignore us or to decide to put the ships on sale when they want our money.

    If they are aren't happy with the sales at full price, or just want a second wave of sales, we are offering a way to get them.

    We voiced our disappointment politely.

    Of course the new ships wouldn't be on sale. Everyone wants them so they are going to keep everything at a non discounted price so that people will spend more money to get what they want. Money Making 101.
    I can't think with you reading my signature, plus in the amount of time you spent reading my signature you could've killed at least one enemy.

    Aww how cute someone got their panties in a bunch.

    Personally I understand where the other posters are coming from, while their is a zen sale, it's also Valentine's Day weekend, an upgrade weekend is active (so you need zen for that), there are actual discounted ships to buy, and a currency even if it's a virtual currency only go so far. Beside even with 20k zen you can't buy everything at once. However there is nothing wrong with wishing for more or better options.
