Once you get an Admiralty Card it is yours forever, regardless of what you do with the Ship.

To make something clear. I am well aware that white gear that comes with a ship sells for zero value. Nontheless, I see it as a convenience to use the drydock to strip a ship and 'sell' it to a vendor or the recycle bin, just to empty my inventory.

I don't use drydock for much else. It is great for people that have a lot of non-reclaimable ships, I think. I am not into buying lock box ships and lobi ships, because they get locked to one character. I did spend keys on getting the Wells and the Korath and I got those, but they have become obsolete and are in drydock now, because of T6 and the fact that we can get good science ships today for all factions even in 31th century style.

Now a feature I would like to see is a dock ship. A dock ship is a ship that is always in dock, but I can stowe something like 10 engines, shields deflectors, 100 weapons slots, slots for consoles, engineer, tactical, science and universal and no limit on unique items etc. It doesn't have to look like something. That is a thing I would buy.

In other words, you want unlimited Inventory space. :)

Wrong. I want convenient storage space. I use most of the ships in dock as storage. Which means I always have to cycle through these ships to find where is what. A ship meant only to store spare parts would be nice as I see it. The number of items that can be put on such a ship is up to the devs to decide.

I understand what you're saying. But Cryptic will just interpret it as wanting unlimited/extra storage space (come to think it, that's probably why they felt the 'urge' to fix the Overflow Bag: too many ppl were using it for extra, free storage space, instead of buying the Inventory expansion tokens).

Let me get this straight, you can use ships you have discarded in Admirality projects still? I thought Admirality was only for ships in dry dock and your shipyard. If not then why wouldn't you keep your drydock full?

That's exactly right. You can load up every ship available to your character in the Z store, verify you got the card, and toss it back out again and the card will stay. I have a T1 Connie, BoP, and T'varo cards doing this. They're cut and honestly handy for managing missions where you need that extra 5 points without wasting tons on other stats.

They cleared out Kit Frames when they made them eligible for Upgrade WHEN THEY DIDN'T NEED TO, and got rid of having slots for Modules, after they had made a change originally to have slots.

They crippled your ability to do stuff if you have 50 or more Items in the Overflow Bag (and scr*wed that up).

Given the above, do you really think that they are EVER going to allow equipment storage on Ships in Drydock. Their intention from the start was to provide SHIP storage that was lighter on Database resource usage (less to link and keep track of).
