Point Defense Bombardment Warhead & microtorps not properly buffed by traits and items that should buff those items.

Testing Parameters:

Captain does have the Projectile skill, HullPen/ShieldWeak maxed, and the torpedo/kinetic accolade. Temporal/Strategist active.

Tested on a beam build and loadout, no Anchored, no torpedo traits like OKS, Torpedo Pre-fire Sequence, Kinetic Precision, etc. Rule-62 was equipped, but neither the main torpedo nor the microtorps were buffed by the +18.8% torpedo damage. Also of note, +Torpedo Exploiters do NOT increase the base damage of the torpedo and microtorps.

Relevant traits slotted: Nukara Offensive (Aux @ ~35). Self-Modulating Fire, Inspirational Leader.

Four (4) targets were made available; one primary target at 11.8km away (NOT a typo), and three (3) targets within 5km from the primary target.

The warhead was launched multiple times with the following abilities (in this order):
a. No abilities used
b. Kemocite Laced Weaponry
c. Go Down Fighting
d. APA
e. APO
f. Abilities listed in b-e

Kemocite does affect the microtorps, as there are multiple lines of KLW hits that are outside of the main warhead and KLW main target blast radius.

GDF, APA, APO, TF (assuming IF as well) affect both the warhead and microtorps.

(As an aside): There is an animation delay when firing the warhead. A "placeholder" object is generated, and the object travels forward until the identifier tag and animation literally swoops in from behind to replace the object.


It appears that the warhead and microtorps are not properly 'hooked into' all of the torpedo/projectile buffs that other consoles of its type are. Examples: Superior Projectile Training DOES buff the warhead/microtorps, but Torpedo Pre-Fire Sequence DOES NOT. Some set bonuses do work, while others do not. Consoles like Rule 62 do not buff the warhead and microtorps. See the photos for details.

I knew using Kinetics would be playing the game on hard mode, but what I didn't realize was how bad the deck is stacked against Kinetics.
