Doesn't work for me. It is the second time. I can play the minigame. I get a particle, but the mission does not reset. The last time I skipped the mission, waited a day so I could pick up different locations that did work.

On another account I skipped the whole project, because my AoY character could not get into the Wolf system. I restarted it on a normal character.

I suggest the following. At the end of the event let players pick up the ship at Q. I do not like the minigame. I am loosing patience because of the bugs. I am not interested in the particles and the cumbersome projects to make theme into upgrade kits. Those particles are probably going to be recycled. I still have some from last year and last last year.

Next time, just drop the mission, and return after 30-60 mins... usually you get fresh locations on the same day.

Try changing the instance ur in

This happens sometimes. Try changing instances, leaving the area and coming back, switching toons and if none of those work, exit out of the game completely and come back in. That usually fixes it so you can complete it. I'll have that error happen occasionally on Defera ground.

Note: These are common solutions to a lot of problems in STO where something doesn't complete, trigger etc so they should be things you try automatically.

Also, and I know this seems obvious but: make sure you're doing space for space and ground for ground
