Please give us some customization for these. I like the ship stats but the looks need some tweaking.... Something... Anything.

Seriously though, good luck getting those changed. Won't happen but it'd be nice.
The engineer based ship seems a tad large. Every time I warp out with it I clip inside the ship model itself during the cut scene.

You take that back! The Eternal gets most of its looks from the Paradox (Delta wing design). I cant even point to a ship for the Chronos or the Ouroboros is remotely related to outside they are all time ships.

Like, that should be super obvious as far as design lineage goes. All those ships are of the same era aesthetic as the Wells.
That's because in the future they are from, the Klingons and Romulans are part of the Federation...

It.... uh, you literally haven't said anything to back your statement up.
In fact, I'm pretty sure if you actually asked one of the ship designers if the Paradox was based off the same design ideas behind the Wells, they'd say, "yes I thought that was obvious".
In fact, the in-game description of the Paradox supports this, too.
The Paradox actually isn't a Mirror future ship, but a contemporary one built by the Terran Empire, using technology they appropriated from their far flung descendants.
In the Mirror Universe, this would be the Mobius class Temporal Destroyer, which is essentially the Mirror Universe analogue to the Wells class.
Its counterpart in the Prime Universe, the Chronos, actually does originate from the future, and it is most definitely a very large, exaggerated version of the Wells class.
The only thing the Wells has in common is its a Timeship..With out that it she nothing in common with its 31st century Science counter part. They dont use even Time the same..The Wells is smaller, faster (also looks fast) and more agile than its sci counterpart (Which is not small or fast) .. They share no Temporal skins or markings. There is more in common with the Paradox (with the Eternal) than there is with the Wells.. The Paradox and Eternal share the same Delta wing design,Dual impellers, a single Hanger and a swept forward nose.
The Mobius is not a science ship ..Its a Destroyer..But it shares about 70% of the Wells design cues and capabilities . The Paradox (Which is ALSO a Mirror Universe ship) gets the front nose section from the Mobius...Thats about all they share (In both Size and Shape)...If you were to silhouette the Paradox and Eternal (top down) The similarities are clear..Do that with the Wells and Eternal and the only similarity is the they have impellers but only 1 on the wells. The Wells also shares areodynamic design cues similar to current Earth Fighters.
The Chronos is more an exaggerated form of the Eternal.Even so far as to share the Delta wing shape
Comparatively speaking..The Wells is a Sleek Hot and sexy 29th century BABE! ..The Eternal or any 31st century ship..is her Big ugly future inlaw.
In short, I can see design cues from the Paradox in the Eternal and Chronos..The Paradox takes its nose from the Mobius.
The Mobius is its Fraternal twin from the mirror universe. And Both the Eternal and Chronos are Large and Very large ships.
The Eternal does not look like the Wells..It looks like the Paradox.
Id argue the Hazari Escort has more in common with the Wells than the Eternal in: looks,size,speed, maneuverability..Both Share an intra-atmosphere look too.

When you look at the entirety of Star Trek, I'd say the Eternal and Paradox were both inspired by the Wells. They share those "blisters" (for lack of a word to describe those bumps on the fuselage) and the "winged" concept. They all have very fat middle sections tapering off to very thin edges with similar window placements. The Eternal and Wells even share the same bridge.
It's pretty much an evolution of the design in the same way the Constitution design has evolved into the many different Enterprises. You can point out the differences between the Constitution, Galaxy and Sovereign, but they all stemmed from the Constitution's design.

Evolution of design.
Like, if you can't see how the 31st century timeships are descended from the Well's design (as is the Paradox), then you are willfully sticking your head in the sand, as they all clearly share design ideas and aesthetics.

There were some pretty bad design decisions on the ships, such as spending most of the polygon budget on the neck of each ship which just looks terrible, makes no sense as the material is different from the rest of the ship. Another bad decision was using sticking those low polygon low texture pimples all over the ship. The leather on the ship was also a bad choice. Why is there leather on a spaceship from the future? Are these the special limited luxury editions? The sweeping curves are nice, the normal skin texture is nice, but there needed to be some high quality detail work.
Sharing design ideas and aesthetics DOESN'T MEAN DESCENDED FROM. It just means that they are all spaceships designed by the same studio. In order to understand any of the timeships you have to go back to the original conception for the timeships. Since they were so far forward in time they wanted the ships to look radically different while still looking like functional ships. So they made the ships look more like stealth fighter planes than satellites with solid fuel booster engines attached to them by pylons. The future ships share a design aesthetic with the Lukari ships as the idea was that all future ships would follow the same design to make it look like the future had a different spaceship construction paradigm than the 25th/26th century. Now if only the 31st century ships had as much careful detail as the Lukari lock box ships.
* They're all fleet level out of the box.
* They can be used by any faction. Though I still prefer faction based ships.
* They provide a fleet level bird of prey type ship to non-KDF factions with the tac ship.
* Account based access.
You really can't go wrong with these if you don't care about faction looks as much.
My Klingon Sci Gorn has the Rozenko, Krenn, Korath, and Paradox, I really like using the Krenn, Korath, and Rozenko materials on the Paradox, but faction skins are great too. Always liked the KDF type 0 and type 2 skin.
If the 31st century ships got Faction materials for KDF or Rom depending on the captain, I would be much willing to by the pack. I could then give one to each of my 3 Ferasans, and pretend they are Ferasan ships.
That said still haven't found a ship that KHG shields can't fix or greatly improve if needed. Thankfully we now have ship visual slots, so can at least KDF them up that way.
That said, the 31c bundle is hands down the best deal in the store if you have captains from all 3 factions (followed by the cross-faction battlecruiser bundle).
