The Reputation is another 40 days for one of my Characters and 20 for the rest. No, the thing that has me 'depressed' is the new Research School. Another half a bajillion day grind to get that up is not something I'm looking forward to.
Too bad we don't R&D Sponsorship.
That would be such a massive QoL improvement...only 2 of my 9 toons have 1 or more schools at 20 due to the exponential increase in the xp req'd for 15-20. I'd love to be able to shave some time off maxing alts out in r&d, which would in turn make me likely to spend more time with the game.
As an aside, given the xp requirements to push to 20 in a school, it might be nice to add an "enhanced" version of each school's trait (like what can be bought for other personal traits at K13). +50% like the K13 traits wouldn't be much for most of the lvl 15 traits (particle manipulator aside...it's already doing well enough), and it would be more incentive to spend the time on more alts.
Ok so a species that just discovered warp technology and had to bum a ship off the Gorn suddenly has technology on par with civilizations that have been in space for centuries?

I took some screenshots of various ships with the shield and I find it quite pretty, even if for some, even Tron producers would deem that as "too much". The engine trails are gorgeous too, though I think they could be longer to be properly enjoyed.
Since you invoked the reference, imagine replacing the neon-blue accents with a similar type of red...
Which, in turn, reminds me of a suggestion I've floated with respect to ship visuals...
add to the rep projects ones that unlock 'vanity' versions of those set items that do have visuals - they would, of course, be much cheaper than their functional counterparts, and become available at the same tiers. Naturally, they fit only in the visual slots. This would also facilitate variants of rep visuals, as noted above.
add a tab dedicated to storing these, using the same logic as the R&D tab... in fact, a similar tab for non-combat pets would be wise.
I might have to pick that up for the Zatmeniye... and, while we're in the neighborhood, picture what that might look like on a Mobius-class...

well well, my original character has always used polaron and turns poorly so the console has a slight chance of making it onto my ship. however the torpedo would have to be as good as the early days of that shield stripping torpedo we had before it was nerfed to justify slotting 2 pieces. It sounds similar to that torpedo (i forget the name) "When fired as a salvo, or with the photonic shockwave upgrade, it drains and debuffs the hardness of your enemy's shields in a massive area around your primary target."
The functionality of the torpedo's shield drain and hardness debuff is similar to the current functionality of the Quantum Phase Torpedo, because I do not want to release another torpedo that can drain 6 million shield hitpoints in a single torpedo spread. That caused a number of problems, and we are not about to return to that.

the only question i have left to find an answer to is - which dev(s) did the copy/paste? brilliant work. really cutting edge. no, seriously. must've pure hell wearing out those <crtl-c> <crtl-v> functions. or did someone set up a keybind so the team only had to repeatedly press <spacebar>.
