a fresh version was made for the Eagle Moss collection which is about as close as we're likely to get to the original model.
Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though. JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

The Oslo was never an attempt at recreating the Norway model, it was an attempt at updating it. Much like the Zephyr was an attempt at updating the Steamrunner. People need to stop arguing that because we have the Oslo there's no need to add the Norway. They're not the same ship just because they look vaguely similar. Imagine if the game launched with the Thunderchild instead of the Akira. Do you think the Akira fans would've been ok with that? "Oh, you guys want the Akira added? But you have the Thunderchild, which is based on the Akira, so the ship you want is already in the game."
Also, I don't see why it matters that the original Norway's model was lost. I'm pretty sure the devs haven't been importing CG models from TV/movies to make ships in STO
I'm pretty sure they DO use all the references available to them and blurry pre-HD TV stills is a lot less helpful in that role than being able to crawl all over the original model with a pair of calipers and a good digital camera.
I'm also sure with or without a post on the forum they know it exists and is something they could apply time to and hope sells adequately to offset that. Otherwise expect it to continue to be back-burnered until there's a better opportunity to market it.

never made the argument that is shouldn't be added, so get your panties out of a kink. I'm just saying we have a 'close enough' in game right now. The Steamrunner's sales will probably be a huge factor on weather or not they ever look at the Norway itself.

There is the Oslo class in game already, thats as close as you are going to likely get. The original models for the Norway were lost
While the original model made for First Contact was lost, there have been many attempts at recreating it in games.

What.
At least do a high-tier Oslo refit, if CBS won't let you invent a Norway model.
