[PC] Old character unable to complete tutorial

So I had an old character sitting around that I had made during the DELTA recruit event in 2015. Because I had made several at that time she languished in the tutorial after having gotten her tesseract. I recently came up with a concept that I want to use her for, but when I went back to try to use her I am now stuck in the tutorial.
She is in the "Training Cruise" mission and when I logged in I got one of those system messages that said the mission was outdated and would be automatically restarted. It did this and to progress in the mission is to talk to Elisa Flores. The problem is that I can't talk to Elisa or interact with her at all. She's there, I've moved everywhere I can on the bridge to see if maybe it's just hard to find the right spot to get the interact option all to no avail. I've tried logging completely out of the game for hours and logging back in the next day and there is no change. I can't drop the mission because it is the tutorial and because she's in the tutorial I can't switch maps, beam out, warp to ESD or anything else that I can think of to reset progress on the mission.
If anyone has any advice on what I might do to resolve this issue and get her out of the tutorial I would be very grateful. It's been extremely frustrating to me for the last two days now.
