Can't Use Datachips in Q's Winter Wonderland

Another bug regarding the Datachips. I have to leave the zone before i can use the datachips.

    Yea it is sad you have to often be at the Academy to use many of the Datachips... A few other maps will allow them to be used but I don't know why the restriction, they should be allowed to be used on any ground map you would think...

    I think you need to be on a ground map (ground location map so to speak?) and somehow WW isn't considered one... I don't know.
    For a quick use - If in WW, I would use Q to go out to ESD or the matching NR/KDF place, it should be enough.

    Academy specifically is not a must in my opinion.

    The bug has existed for as long as the Winter Wonderland.
    The datachips can only be used on public, open maps (ESD, SFA, Qo'noS, Drozana, etc.) yet the Winter Wonderland and the Risa Resort do not seem to qualify. I'm not aure anyone even knows why...

    Thanks now it's more clear to me though like you I don't understand the reason
