Game crashing at loading screen after every other mission?

Hey all. As the title suggests, my game keeps crashing at the loading screen after every other mission. I cant get out of it unless I ctrl,alt,delete and sign out and log back in again. I'll log in, games fine, start a mission, complete it then when I change maps the game just stops at the loading screen. I've waited for like 15 mins and still no joy. This all seems to have started since I've turned off the pre patching option to speed up loading times. Anyone else with the same issue? Never had an issue with this game in the past.
