Missing Kits? Try This Workaround

I stumbled onto this tonight, three of my characters have "missing kits" (the kit slot is blank, won't let me unequip /equip a new kit) - I have gotten them back now on two characters (I haven't tried it on the third yet).

It started when a fleet member needed help with a mission in the beta quadrant (my character was in delta, after I transwarped to beta, my kit was back and the 2 modules that were missing.)

Another character was in beta quadrant space (near Sol), I went to bridge interior and when I exited back to beta quadrant, kit & modules back.

I'm not quite sure if the magic trick is zoning to beta quadrant or if it's any quadrant but give it a whirl.

    Just did this on the last character (alpha quadrant), went to ship interior, and exited back to alpha and everything's back.

    NOTE: There does seem to still be some kit bugs, for example, I cannot equip temporal operative modules on a temporal operative character.

    You need to reach specific stages within the TO spec to be able to equip & use modules of certain ranks.

    Yes and the character is at it, can even buy up to the green ones in the dilith store (and used them before the update).

    Still my kit frame is missing after that and more (and in one char's case, can not equip kit frame as that slot is occupied with that degenerated useless blackened kit frame). Saying so that people would know it's not solved at least for some kits!
    Allegedly NOT solved for all standard starter kit frames of all carriers. (applies to characters created before the 25/10 patch only)

    Edit to clarify: I was told this specific issue does NOT affect characters created AFTER the 25/10 patch.
    The issue allegedly DOES affect characters who had their starter kit frame DURING the 25/10 patch,
    making the slot that kit frame was in, along with the kit frame itself, totally non usable. Added a redirection as well.
