It seems after the Lighting 2.0 update, every patch fixes some textures and creates problems for others. I'm talking about cases where BOffs wearing unique items (Bracer Tech) will no longer render. Many ship hull materials will not render in the ship tailor and will look
off when the player is in the ship.
For the latter, here is an example.
The ship will fail to render in the ship tailor (you can't see the ship at all) unless you switch to a different hull material. In space, you can clearly see that something is missing. The hull material above is "Fleet" which was working before the patch but isn't now.
Before that, my Excelsior was using material 1 which failed to render but now works properly, so the bug tends to move around.
I am using a primarily DX9 card that can work with DX11 but cannot use Lighting 2.0.
Edit: I've been told restarting fixes the problem and luckily, it does. Just don't change to too many characters though because it'll show up on another toon sooner or later, requiring another restart.
