Simple question would you all like to see this event ran again?
is so annually with Qs' winter wonderland or with each new season.
Or would you rather they never run this again

    Annual, so that it has a definite impact on the Dil-Ex so that everyone can profit in some way even if only for that one week. Plus, old prizes need time to accumulate to keep its value high.

    If it's run too often, it'll lose its oomph. Once a year should be perfect.

    Although I voted for "once a season;" that's my personal greed talking, On that note, can we make it quarterly? :D

    Yearly or maybe coinciding with the ship events each year seems neat.

    My vote would be once or, at most, twice a year to coincide with the winter/summer events.
    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

      I've heard suggestions of other items that are no longer available that they could refresh the boxes with, too. That'll keep people who maybe got everything they wanted out of this run coming back to the watering hole.

      None of the above, as I think it should run at least as often as the infinity box, though the upgrade thingy in it could be limited time. Also, the newer a prize is, the higher it's grade should be, so this box won't defeat the purpose of running events completely.

      Cryptic wants "limited time" to mean something for its events. I'd expect that they will want players to know skipping an event means waiting at least until Winter to get a second chance, and possibly not until the following Winter.

      I voted anual but I wanted bi-anual. Basically it's a week long so once at the start of summer and once at the start of winter.

      I vote seasonal, but with the seasonal events such as the Winter and Summer Event.

      This has been the greatest DL sink since the fleet starbase and has been amazing at rebalancing the DL Economy.

      running the event more often doesn't mean the last missed ship will be added the devs can add ships from recent events when ever they choose they could make this a year later and still run the event every two months.

      When I think about everything we've been through together,

      Annual with QWW seems as good an idea as any, after all that gives us a whole 12 months to save enough dil to buy sufficient candy bars boxes to be in with a chance of a golden ticket to the chocolate factory getting any top tier ships that we missed out on that are inside.

      Damn that Q and his love of sugary confection based fun, ESD was like a casting session for Willy Wonka earlier :smile:

      running it more often doesn't mean you have to use it and cant skip it until you have saved enough only that once you have saved enough you can have a go much sooner then having to wait till winter.

      Honestly, given the failure I had when trying to obtain the item I was seeking (I wanted a token for a Voth Bulwark ship), it should be offered as frequently as possible.
      I'd go so far as to say it should be in the game permanently.

      Mostly because it costs a lot in Dilithium and I need time to collect more in order to purchase more boxes.
      1 week isn't long enough to build up enough of a surplus to seriously invest in large box quantities to open.
      Dilithium Ore doesn't grow on Christmas trees.
      Bees like honey, they don't like vinegar.
      Everytime someone makes a character that is an copy of an existing superhuman, Creativity is sad :'(

      It does in Q's Winter Wonderland. :)

      If you are a Zen Seller then this Prize Pack is for you. Buy Zen 'cheap' now and sell the Zen back after the Exchange goes back into the 400s.

      And I hope Cryptic takes notice in successfully making a Dilithium Sink like this and not the ham-fisted attempt with the ridiculously over-priced Enterprise MACO and TWoK outfits they put into the Dilithium Store a few months back. Keep stuff reasonably priced and provide good alternatives and you will find no end to the willingness to buy/participate. Maybe they should add those Outfits into the Phoenix at the UR Level the next go round.

      Keep 'em, and I'm fine with any time table used. This is a great way to get stuff we newer folks never had a chance to get.

      And it's far, far, FAR more sensible than those R&D/RNG packs that fit the bill more to Spiritwalker's Willy Wonka golden ticket metaphor. I got a Risan Corvette, and just gotta chose which toon's getting it.

      Plus....this is a guilty pleasure if mine, but seeing the comic book guys being denied the opportunity to get to sell the prizes for mega crazy inflated prices makes me giggly like a school girl. :*

      Yes that's true. No warning would be good other wise people will intentionally store up dil to use and the economy could suffer more.
      But no more than once a year. It'll loose it's appeal if done too often and because everyone will have all the rewards. Unless they add in alternatives and swap things about. Maybe swap the bug and bulwark for other promo ships. LOL if the Connie appeared in he next one! :D
