Ships in DOFF Missions

I don't know if this is a bug, or a really rare occurrence? This isn't the first time this happened, but I used an Admiralty ship in my DOFF mission. The last time it came up, I just shrugged and ignored it. It just came up again. Do certain DOFF missions require Admiralty ships?? Or are these particular missions just borked? I have no idea.
