This has been happening for some time, but it doesn't happen every time which leads me to believe that there are some empty or bugged entries in the rewards table for this doff mission. This has been going on for 3+ years.
Sadly, since it relates to a doffing mission reward, the chances of it being fixed are next to nil.
EDIT: It seems I saved the screenie from today as the goofy TGA so I couldn't paste it. BUT: I *did* take a screenie of this before when I only won a blue reward. Alas, no reward.:
