Tholian Red Alert

Idk if its just me, but the Tholian Red Alert seems to be several orders of magnitude harder than it used to be (as of today). I keep finding the Tholians grouped from 3 into one super-group within 1:30, and them all positioned right around the spawn point. Its so bad that I die while spawning. I'm using Fleet Elite Mark XII gear on everything, and I can't even make it 2 seconds before I die.

Am I crazy? Or is this happening to everyone?
