"Echoes of the light". Sounds very enigmatic. Not sure if it sounds sinister or not yet.

The Geklis in the picture have me wondering. The only place we've seen them so far is in Fluidic space and ner New Romulus. Any thoughts on that?

Also, is that a Fluidic rift or something else? I wonder.

Sounds like a good title for Star Wars episode VIII Echoes of the Light.

Spoiler alert, Mace Windu is Snoke.

Didn't we also encounter them near Defera at some point? No, wait, that must have been during a Foundry mission.

Anyway, I don't think we'll be seeing the Undine. We've already encountered them more than once in completely different story arcs and they already received much attention.

I'm also curious what items we will get as a reward.

The Hylasa are symbiotically bonded to some Gekli as a form of transporation so it is possible that we will be dealing with them.

Haven't all their missions been removed by now, though? I thought they had. Not sure.

Calling it, playable T6 Gekli (Gelki?).

They were part of the old Fluid Dynamics mission, but just because they were removed from the game doesn't mean they don't exist or have a symbiotic relationship with Gekli. The new FE might be how Cryptic introduces them back into the game.

I've run that Rom Rep patrol mission many times. Must protect the Gekli from the hunting parties.
Now a LTS and loving it.

The video previews from tribble of the new holding (K- 13) shows a Gekli herd (? pod? swarm?) In the space portion of the map & yes there is a romulan rep patrol mission about them.

Any details on why the Gekli are there? Didn't I see a Tribble screenshot of the space jellyfish from "Encounter At Farpoint" too that was related to K-13?

How can the lukari become space farers without being taught how to commit genocide the proper way lol

We're only handling the Lukari with such kid gloves cause we know they play a part in the future. Kal Dano is the descendant of a Lukari freighter captain, after all, and, though a seeming thorn in our side- saving and assisting him etc-, he's a important part of the knotted plot/time line we're going through.

If this was another race, they'd be building their own ships as we waved them off with a dismissive mention of the P.D.

They are teasing us again. Stimulating our imagination of exploration and discovery of strange new things... In reality it's likely gonna be another standard mission with space battle, ground battle and space battle again. I have given up on hoping for something different.

Yeah regarding the whole Kal Dano thing: I wish we could just travel to the point in time where the Vorgons steal the Tox Uthat, kill them, destroy it and be done with it already.

And the moment Daniels or one of those other incompetent temporal fools even dares to talk about how the temporal loop must be maintained, we shoot them too. Or at least we should be able to kick them back to their own century and fix their own problems that they are, apparently unknowingly, maintaining themselves.

Don't we need the Tox Uthat to destabilize the Command Sphere to prevent an Expanse from forming close to Earth?

I'm tired of this time travel and multi-dimensional stuff. Let the incompetent fools that are called temporal agents find some other fool to do their work for them and listen to their one-sided stories and let's just stay in our own dimension as well.

Plenty to discover up there without having to resort to all this exotic stuff that ultimately only gives me the idea that nothing we do really matters because there's always another 1000 alternate realities and timelines if we fail in this one.

NOTHING can be worse than "Of Bajor". But I will never forgive them for "Sunrise". Advertising the end of the war and a new dawn for exploration... and 5 minutes into the mission these hopes were crushed again.

In their defense, we WERE exploring an Uncharted star system when the Tholians decided to crash the party.

Seriously, we will. I mean, half the enemies we fight in that mission are only our enemies because this temporal loop is maintained when it could have been solved so easily.

Besides, if the temporal agents were doing their job, shouldn't they prevent us from using it? Since it's still a device from the future from our perspective.

I think it's kinda dumb anyway that the temporal agents are regarded as an authority, as people who know what they're doing.

Cause they don't. They make mistakes and keep creating and maintaining their own problems and even though they pretend to exist to avoid it, they then interfere with all sorts of events and persons from the past (us especially) to fix things.

The only temporal agent I would ever consider able to do this job well would be a Tholian. All the others may think they know what's going on, in the end they're not up to the task. They have never been. That's the primary message of captain Braxton in Voyager: the temporal agents are talking about stuff and trying to manage something that they cannot comprehend.

I think it's pretty foolish that Quinn and the rest of Command haven't kicked them out yet. I'd be happy to do it for them.

Edit: Hmm... now that I'm thinking of it, I might have to adapt my sig :p

Well this FE will last for three weeks so whatever the Rewards are will have three pieces.

We also know that this Lukari ship design contest will result in the next Anniversary prize. So this Lukari Arc will be going on for months.

We may be back to the multi-week FEs like the Iconian Arc and the first part of the Future Proof Arc which was abandoned when they released AoY.
