I'm surprised no pre-updates pryor to the 25th

Usually when a big update is coming we will see small patches every time we log in but this one is less than a week away and no mini-patches. Will the whole update be loaded all at once? If so, get ready for a long day of patching and no playing.

    Worse, maybe 12 hrs of prep and an couple hrs of patch

    There's been no prepatch yet, but not sure if you mean Richard Pryor [does he play STO from the grave?]. For mid-season updates we usually do get one a week ahead, if it doesn't start pre-patching after maintenance today I can only assume we're getting the content stealth'd into today's patch for when they flip the switch on Tuesday.

    Sorry gotten lazy with spell checkers "prior" to. Last time they went without pre-patch was prior to Arc so who knows.

    Thats NO BIG update....in STO history of patches what they are doing for the 25th is MINUSCULE to say the most. A holding and small FE is nothing to write home about. I guess the standards have gone down so low these days.​​

    I didn't play this game for a month and took me about five days to download the patch. Can't imagine what it would be like for someone who hasn't played in a couple of years.

    Do we really need to update the pryors? They seemed pretty OP in Stargate....just saying.

    Pretty sure most of the "big" stuff like graphics have been in place on our end since AoY.

    Now a LTS and loving it.
    Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
    I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything. :D

    Thank you for input. :) Still no answer to the main question if pre-patch. What about the Delta & Sector Specific Doff missions?

    News Lighting System: I am on Tribble, and it's a disaster so fare. I hoped for the best, because I love the game, but since the update changes of the last 10 days there are even more profound bugs in the Lighting 2.0 than before. I hope you can fix it or delay it.

    New Featured Episode: *sarcasm on* Oh really, a full new Quest?! Don't get over your heads.... *sarcasm off* And that since July 6th.

    A very significant number of bug fixes: You really have to point that out? It's sad that you guys are not able to fix stuff in time. But I guess we have to be thankful.....

    A major QoL change to Fleet Project requirements: Sure, so it gets even simpler than it is already, and no need for the other stuff of Freighters/Tuffli etc.. So please remove them from all Stores and Duty Officer assignments as well.

    And possibly other things that we have not yet announced: Oh wait... a new Lukari Lockbox with stuff that no one needs, because there is no content and challenges for it. Oh sorry ONE Quest..... how could I forget about that. And let me guess, there will be a new grinding Event attached to it too. Yeah surprise surprise..... and please don't forget to remove other T5 Ships from the Lobi Store and put them into a Lockbox as a T6 version, or was the the T5 Jem Hadar Dreadnought the only ship more wanted than the counterpart (Jem’Hadar Heavy Escort Carrier) in the Lockbox?



    I am really sorry that I point all that out so drastic. I love the game and play it everyday since 01/2012, but some changes, the damn slow progression, a wasted opportunity with the poor last "Expansion" and promised but not given exploration after New Dawn makes me really sad.
    I hope that you have enough success on consol, so there will come more and more interesting stuff in the next few month!

    still no pre-patch. have you noticed, all updates fall on Tuesday? would think they would do it on a Thursday.

    Seasons, Half-Seasons, and Expansions always occur on Tuesdays on the PC. It gives them a couple of extra days that week to clean up any messes resulting from the release.

    Then Here me whine the graphics on Tribble are terrible for the first time holodeck looks better, hope they put the reflections back when the update hits. Oh yeah WAAAAAAAAAAA!
