The Lukari have begun a space exploration initiative after the events of Sunrise. To meet the challenges of the final frontier, they’ve been collaborating with the best engineering minds in the Alliance to produce a new Lukari starship that will launch for Star Trek Online's Anniversary event.
It would be nice to know WHAT KIND OF SHIPS these are suppose to be. Slow turning cruiser or highly maneuverable escorts? Because it matters, alpha is clearly a cruiser and bravo is clearly an escort.
Neither I would like faction specific ships for the anniversary. Fed/Rom and KDF not another alien ship i'll never fly even if free. Unless the starship mastery trait has the "WOW" factor i'll be passing on grinding/adding this to my collection.
Alpha all the way for me, it has that X-Files feel to it! However, I notice another familiar looking ship from the list on the blog, the crescent shaped ship looks like a Yehat Terminator ship from Star Control! If that ends up being the released ship, please let us make an alien with a beak and wings!
I dont know if everyone picked up on this, and they should have noted, the top view of the ships are oriented down. That means the front of the ship is pointing to the bottom of your screen.
They definitely should have noted where the front ends are facing. Given that they didn't, how do you gather the front is facing down?

That white strip on Alpha would emit particles into the hull. The white strip on Beta would end up causing the drive emission particles to collide with each other.
The weakness to me seems that none of the designs have clearly distinguishable warp nacelles. If the Lukari are new to warp technology, they should be still a few steps away from integrated nacelles like on a Defiant or Pilot Escort.
