Ship Tailor NONfunctional

I am unable to save changes to my ship's appearance and have it show in-game. This has happened all of a sudden. Things used ot work fine. Now, it only shows the default skin that you originally purchase it with. When trying to modify the ship in the tailor it doesnt show the changes there either. When I open up the load option for previous skins I hae saved, they are all there, but when I try to load/save them they dont display.
Help?
Its really annoying when your ship you spent so much time and energy acquiring doesnt look like you intended...

Sometimes you need to open the ship tailor, close it, then open it again to see your current customization. If it fails to load, click on one of the ship templates before trying to customize again.
