Takedown mission is glitched

Me and a friend have tried twice to do this mission and it has glitched on us we get has far as checkpoint delta tuvok ask us to chose ally we click on the ally and then nothing game will not progress and we can't move either

just to add some more info if I try to quit mission I can't leave the orbit of the sphere in fact the only way i can leave orbit is to transwarp
