Any word on the Enterprise?

We've not really seen the Enterprise since the Iconian assault on Earth (and even before, their presence was lacking rather). Story wise, it has been a vastly important time, you'd have thought the flag ship might've appeared more often. The Enterprise hasn't even made that many appearances in the dev blog prose pieces.

Anyone else curious?

Shon went on a diplomatic mission to Betazed. ... ah you know where I'm going with this ... in short ... it crashed into something.

When the Ent-F does reappear I wonder if they won't retcon/retrofit it into one of the T6 Star Cruiser classes. (Yorktown seems the most apt.)

My Fed Main ship is the Excelsior Fleet Retrofit USS Crazy Horse

Ships motto " We do the fighting, enterprise gets the credit"

It sums up why we havent seen the enterprise, were doing the hard work but they will get the credit for it lol

It was been retrofitted in one of the blogs. One Big Ship, I think it was called.

Surely you mean you wonder if they will refit it.

Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though.
JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

How about having a not yet made episode start with the Player cleaning up some noodle incident Enterprise, or its factional equivalents left behind, when we get ordered to head to location A.

1701-F needs more time in the spotlight, 1701-E is theoretically still out there with Data as her captain. Two current Enterprises... that's never happened before in the same continuity without some kind of time travel shenanigans bringing them together. I have a feeling at some point a chapter bringing these together and explaining what happened to E will be made.

Enterprise E was destroyed in a battle against Species 8472 (Undine) in roughly 2408 or 2409 (most likely 2409). I forget which original story in the Star Trek Magazine explained what happened

Ah... I just verified that on the STO Wiki and it was 2408.

Strange how I hadn't heard that before. All previous timelines I read had the Enterprise F put into service due to the E simply going missing. That's why I've always kind of suspected it could have been found eventually, since Data being an android would mean that even if the crew were all dead he could just keep on trucking bringing the ship home for decades or centuries even.

But that's obviously not the case :(

My Apologises. Even the wiki leaves her fate undetermined for the E. But i believe her to be destroyed. Simply because in my opinion you dont have two ships in active service with the same name. Thats just silly :)

God, I hope not to hear from that windbag Shon. What a drongo, takes the credit for what WE did.

Ten to one, he'll also be taking the credit for what happended in the ESD toilets. Namely the toilet paper fight I had with Quinn.

    Who won that fight?

True. If she'd simply not been seen or heard from in decades, it's possible she may have been declared formally lost and a new Enterprise would have been christened. Enterprise is Starfleet's flagship, they wouldn't let the name fade just because the previous ship wasn't confirmed destroyed or retired.

But if her whereabouts were known in 2408 and she was sent on a mission, they won't have replaced her in 2409 without a good reason.

They need to mix thing up a bit. Blow it to hell by the next big bad right in front of us.

It hasn't been done that much on TV or movie . And it means pwe can sell a new ship...

    Quinn won by a sheet.

So that explains why the fire alarms and fire suppressors kept going off in the ESD Toilets. Your a dragon, didn't you realize that sneezing fire would kick the system into activating fire suppressors in the room, as well as the mobile ones to spray down your throat?

Umm, How is your throat by the way? :)

And how did Quinn like his new colored hairdo?

I actually fly the hero flagship of the Federation, everyone knows the name U.S.S. Purple Haze.

This Enterprise ship you guys are talking about is just a bit part actor who flys a support cruiser. But i tell you the Purple Haze can handle itself, this Enterprise just wants a cut of the action.

"Enterprise is Starfleet's flagship, they wouldn't let the name fade just because the previous ship wasn't confirmed destroyed or retired."

Enterprise C destruction to Enterprise D launch was approximately 19 years.
One year of Enterpise E just "missing" feels a little rushed. Of course....game needed a hook.

I never go into this "the enterprise is the flagship" thing. Let some other ship have that title for a change.

So both are around at the same time. It's not like with having both Enterprises around you would '...imagine all life as you know it stopping instantaneously and every molecule in your body exploding at the speed of light...' kinda stuff.
