Cloaking Bug

I am on Xbox and have run into a cloaking device bug on multiple ships. Every fourth or fifth time I engage a cloak in a mission or public event, the cloak button stops registering and the ship refuses to DEcloak. I have had this happen several times on my Phantom Intel Escort - where, at least, it comes with the Active Intel ability, a side effect of which is forcing a cloak drop.

I have had no such luck with my T6 Valiant, on which I paid good money to run the Stealth Fighter gear set. The bug is sticking me in stealth mode repeatedly with no easy way to drop cloak, as none of the abilities on that ship will negate stealth. The only 'workaround' I've found is going into the menus mid-battle and un-equipping the cloaking console - which drops stealth in the middle of battle a lot of the time - and then waiting until combat ends and trying to back into the menus quick and equip it again before someone takes a shot at me. Needless to say, having to unplug it and plug it back in every time I want to use it does not a Battle Cloak make.

I have the same issue with the battle cloak of my Scimitar and the romulan t5 and t6 veteran ship on PS4. And the only thing that got my Scimitar to decloak was the cloak attack ability from on of the set consoles. Absolutly nothing helped in decloaking the veteran ships. They are stuck in cloak when the bug hits.

Edit: Forgot to mention that this bug affects the Dyson Science Destroyer from the mission "A Step between Stars" as well.
