PS4 mining nav points bugged?

Tried everything I can think of to use the nav markers on the mining map to move quicker like the pc version but cannot interact with them. Are they bugged or am I missing something?

Huh, and I wondered what their use was in the first place. So you should be able to use them somehow to move faster?

Putting on your spacesuit should add a new power to your L1 wheel called reaction thrusters, just target a nav marker and activate it when you are within range.
