What Lies Beneath? And Why, why, why ...........

Just started playing STO on Xbox One and am really enjoying it, but I've hit a glitch that is annoying and need help. During the final moments of What Lies Beneath and after having wiped out the Devidians I have located their dimenional portal, but can not scan the area? I'm wondering if this is somehow bugged due to the floating flashlights that my landing party is equipped with preventing the interface from being seen? The thing is I can't figure out how to turn the flashlights off? Any suggestions or if there is something else, lemme know that also?

    You gotta use the pattern enhancers first.

    This indeed, i recently did this mission on an alt.

    1. Open your Captain's menu and inventory screens
    2. Locate your Pattern enhancer
    3. Place in one of the 4 Device slots on your Captain
    4. close the Captain's menu and inventory screen
    5. stand next to the dimensional portal
    6. activate the Pattern Enhancer
    7. enter portal

    think that's it.

    Believe the game actually tells you this at some point in that mission.

    Surprisingly this mission has gone on to become one of my favorites among the initial stuff. And I just went back through it yesterday evening with a new character and I've gotta say "wow" did Cryptic not dramatically improve the lighting seen during this mission or what. I mean it remains a really creepy environment, but the additional lighting was much, much appreciated as things were often just too murky to appreciate the details in What Lies Beneath.

    If you've not been back through the maintenance levels of Drozana Station recently, go, go and enjoy!!
