Twice tonight on two different characters I've had this happen. Never experienced it before.
Anyone else seeing this? Or have a I just slipped into a different universe where I picked a different skin
edit: D'oh, it's not a bug, apparently it's caused by the shield I was using from the Breen invasion. You have to right click on it in the ship equipment screen and right click on the shield and pick "disable visuals"
