Hello, I just hit level 20 with my Klingon character. I got the quest ""[Promotion]: Commander" it says speak to Chancellor J'mpok, but when I talk to him it doesn't mention the quest in his dialogue. I've been to the ship yard and it will not let me get my ship either.

Any ideas?

Well I decided since no one answered me, I'd just start a new character and the same thing happened, I acn't talk to J'mpok or get my level 20 Klingon ship.

C'mon no one out there can help?

After a prolonged, and pointlessly frustrating exchange via GM ticket, I basically made no progress.

I still could not get J'mpok missions, couldn't claim ships beyond Lt. Commander, couldn't visit my bridge, couldn't transwarp anywhere (including Quonos), couldn't claim my LG 600-day token, and a myriad of other prohibitions. I was an LG and actually running STFs in a lower-tier Vor'Kang. I was begining to think that the Empire frowned on my attempts at a makeshift Cardassian.

I was to the point where I thought I'd just scrap the toon and create another, and was seriously within a single mouse-click of doing so, when I decided to go back and follow J'mpoks only advice to me: "Speak to the Battle Masters to see how you can best serve the Empire". So, I spoke with every NPC in the First City... and finally, after chatting with the far-flung NPC in the sparing arena (beyond the barracks), it triggered a tutorial series. Upon completion, requiring me to run around the first city and shake a lot of hands, my problem was resolved.

Odd that a LG character, and one that had been around since 2010, was required to do the new-player tutorial... but apparently that was the problem. Damnable Klingons and their orientation protocols! The ensuing relay betweeen the shipyard and Great Hall to resolve all those promotions almost drove me to Blood Wine rehab. Why does the KDF have to be so inconvenient about everything?

I hope this will be of some help to a returning veteran who finds one of his KDF characters stuck in a similar situation.

    Qapla'!

Just spent over an hour talking with people in Qo'nos and nothing. Sad thing is this happened on my very first Klingon character, so I deleted him and started over and ran into the same bug again. It's annoying, but apparently the devs don't care.

I did send in a support ticket and finally heard back from them, it said "unresolved" so I was right... they don't care, or just not smart enough to resolve this bug.

Finally heard back from my support ticket. Said the ship was likely in my overflow bag after receiving it.

It's like they didn't even read my ticket, and here I explained my problem in pretty good detail.

I guess this is the least of my worries as I can't put weapons into a ship I bought from the cstore lol
