I am not expecting anything much, they already gave us Agents of Yesterday with ToS characters & missions to celebrate star trek's 50th, they may think this is sufficient.
at best we may get a c-store giveaway running possibly from 8th - 12th with maybe 3 or 4 items of varying value to be claimed consisting of item already in the game or new to the game like the BTTF power board was but I am not counting on that happening for sure, we may be very lucky and get a T4 or T5 ship if they do this but again only a possibility.
I am certainly not expecting anything earth shattering.
When I think about everything we've been through together,
maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,
and if that journey takes a little longer,
so we can do something we all believe in,
I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.
I'd guess there "might"be a c-store end of summer giveaway to tie in with it so they can drop some poorly selling items on us. The usual stuff, bank slots, 2x spec points, a costume, low tier ship for each faction.
I'm not getting my hopes up as they've been sorely dashed many a time in the past year. I think the T6 Connie really was a disappointment to a lot of players and has somewhat soured things for many. What should have been a celebration turned into a cash grab, not the Trek way IMO.

If memory serves, we usually have his flaming hoops to jump through, to get the latest shiny carrot no?
It's the one where we play that shell game with the little Q's at the Academy. ( Personally, I Wish I could just stun the little buggers and be done with it.)

The STO anniversary, yes.
Remains to be see if they'll do the same for the 50th anniversary of the franchise though.
Yeah, You're right, we did have "Q like" characters though, as one could say. Trelane comes to mind.
I even think I remember reading somewhere where Trelane was linked directly to the Q somehow, though I'm not sure how much weight in canon it would hold, (personally, I ascribe to that theory myself).

Wouldn't it be a hoot if Trelane took over for Q for the 50th Anniversary festivities, (if there was any)? It would certainly keep with the TOS theme. lol

This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
