Loot Crate Code for Romulan or KDF?

I have a loot crate code I really want to use. Tried to claim on other factions, but couldn't. Is there anyway for a romulan to benefit from this? I don't really care about the ships as I already have them. Would just like the cool starter gear for my romulan.
