Five dollar Zen purchase.

Can we have it back please ?

We used to be able to purchase five dollars worth of Zen, then that option was taken away.

Granted, five dollars doesn't buy much now a days, but sometimes, after throwing my money around at all my bills, car repairs ect, that's all I can afford to throw at the game without taking it away from something vital.

I might still want to convert my five dollars worth of zen to dilithium or something.

Please bring back the 5 dollar zen option. :)

Thanks

If you use Steam you can still buy $5 worth of Zen.

Not sure why it's only available on Steam.. but for some reason, that's how it is.

Yeah, weird.... Especially since Steam takes their usual 30% cut of all transactions.

It would make more sense to offer the $5 option in Arc Billing and eliminate the $5 option on Steam.

Do know though that if you buy Zen through Steam, you are on a probation period. You get the zen alright, but for as long as probation period is still going on, everything is account bound (including keys, fleet ship modules, etc., it stays for the purchased items like that) and you can't turn it into dilithium.
Would have liked to know that before I bought 1500 zen through Steam last week.
Bought 5000 zen the day after when I discovered it. Still waiting till it's over so I can, you know, spend it.

The probation is on your first purchase.

If you buy though Steam and get the probation warning, all you have to do is close out the game (don't just log out, close it completely) and then log back in. That clears the probation warning and you can spend your Zen normally. It happened to me the first time after they started the policy and has never happened since. It's a stupid little hurdle, but easy to get past. Other then that, buying on Steam works perfectly fine, I buy all my Zen through Steam.
