As seen here:
with the exceptions of the captain and turret chairs, the chairs are too low to be practical to work on (if crew members could sit in them, the console would reach their chin), being sunken in the floor.
To check:
-Get a Kelvin Timeline D4x Pilot BOP
-beam into the bridge
-observe the chairs
