Liberated Borg Character Creation Failing

Whenever I try to create a Liberated Borg character, be it Federation, Klingon or Romulan I pick the career, make the character look nice pick a name click the button and then have a lovely rounded rectangle pop up and say "Character Creation Failed". Anyone got a solution to this?
