It won't be available with GPL- I'd bet on it... and I only do sure bets.
It's not you- it's me. I just need my space.
Being critical doesn't take skill. Being constructively critical- which is providing alternative solutions or suggestions to a demonstrated problem, however, does.
Maybe they can move those ridiculously priced colored EV Suits from the Dilithium Store to the GPL Store. And lower the price as well.

Honestly I see them reversing Lobi and Latinum making more sense story wise. We bet with lobi at the dabo table as if they were chips and can use them to buy minor fripperies. Then instead of a lobi store it is a latinum store where we spend GPL to buy ships and specialty uniforms. Not sure they would do this other than as a story fix so would be extremely low priority.

How do we refine GPL?
Much like the way we get unrefined dil > dil, we would just get "Latinum" which we refine to "Gold-Pressed Latinum"
Support 90 degree arc limitation on BFaW! Save our ships from looking like flying disco balls of dumb!
That works but then you get into weird things like mining rewarding liquid latinum.

Zen = real money
end of story
Though it is like they don't know what to do with it. The role of EC, Dilithium and zen are fairly clear, but what is GLP for?
Get ten bars early and use it to pay of the ferengi on trader station.
