....thinks Station K7 should have had a TOS interior, rather than the 25th century stuff? I mean the outside's pretty much the same, the inside should have been, too.
I think this is a great idea, OP. I hope the Devs see your idea as well. I approve whole heartedly. Wish I had some way of bringing it to their attention and then fast tracking it so it gets done quickly.
A six year old boy and his starship. Living the dream.
I think that the interior architecture should have remained the same, but all the technology (consoles, etc.) should have been upgraded to 25th century.

I agree to some extent, although most if not all interior structure would have needed retrofitting at some point..can you imagine some civilian or Starfleet personnel just disappearing through the 150-year-old floor because of wear and tear? Although it could be much worse, like Drozana station.
Huh, never occurred to me that Star wars might have been JJs inspiration for the JJ-prise interior ...
Excuse me if I'm not getting the joke, but seriously? The new films' interior and much of the technology is almost a direct adaptation from Star Wars. Add to that the fun fact that Abrams wanted to make Star Wars but didn't get to, only could settle for Star Trek. That's what we got, until he then struck the deal with Disney and delivered a really good Star Wars movie (in my opinion). His "Trek" visuals are still Star Wars, though.

As I said in a later post, I saw the star wars inspiration in other things, but because I only ever saw people compare the interior to an apple store that's the comparison that stuck with me on that one particular thing. I don't watch ANH much myself so I never noticed it on my own.

as I said over many years....an advanced species/society would make their things last.....not this, as Paul from "Paul" said, false economy where things break so easily. The Promelians in "booby trap" had ship laying around for 1,000+ years, and it still worked
That's like comparing 'innie' & 'outie' bellybuttons.

[confession] Sometimes, when I'm flying my connie, I park it at K7, just for looks...[/confession]
Then maybe scale down the station a 'wee' bit.
Darth Vader approves!

My character Tsin'xing
Looks like the corridor from the Tantive IV in Star Wars: A New Hope.

It was for everything else, evil.
Oh I saw it in a lot of other things, but everyone compared the interior to an apple store so that's what always stuck in my head for that
Felt more like living inside of a golf ball to me.

No. No, he doesn't.
That's the interior of a Rebel Alliance ship.
