I am currently running a 970GTX , Skylake CPU 6600K, 16GB DDR4 . Samsung SSD.
I should have no issues with performance. I play games much more graphically advanced than this. If I had not paid money for things I would not complain.
Older missions especially ground missions are nearly unplayable. Will they ever fix it or will I have to seek legal action to recoup some of my 400$ I spent on this game. You have been on notice about the issues? You failed to even attempt to fix them. That by legal definition is gross negligence. Your EULA and ToS can not protect against that no contract can.
I will be less angrly if the 1.1GB update fixes these missions and the known physics bugs.

PS they dont need to kill the game they just need to actually upgrade the engine instead of giving us expansions and seasons with ridiculously huge 500-600MB+ patches..

Without knowing more about your system and connection, it's almost impossible to know why you're having problems.
I'm sure they could easily disprove that accusation. Besides, it's more than likely your internet connection. Here's something for you to try http://www.arcgames.com/en/forums/startrekonline#/discussion/1162154/pc-network-and-other-technical-issues-read-this-first-before-posting
Sometimes connections just suck. Cryptic can put out a patch that fixes the issue for one group of players only for it to cause issues for another group. Too many variables. Or it could be your own internet provider.
Actually, all evidence points to it being 100% server side. This problem started for a lot of people with the June 16th patch and has gotten significantly worse and more frequent with each patch after that. Being that there are no routing issues found in any of the trace routes I've seen posted in other threads, the logical conclusion would be that this is either a coding issue with the various updates or faulty software/hardware somewhere in Cryptic's server system causing all these SNR's and random disconnections.
Dude check ut the forums properly man..There is nearly a full page of threads on the server issue and many have the same say that it is the cryptic server and not our ISP'S..I checked with a couple of networking friends with all the logs and they all say its a server side issue of the host ie: CRYPTIC..
Me for example playing from the subcontinent can play SWTOR maxed out with a youtube video streaming and automatic update running in the back ground and have all devices in the house on WiFi connected on the same connection and never ever get any connectivity issues whilst playing..But with STO I have every possible server related issue (Lags, unexpected DC's (atleast 4-5 an hour on occassions) and SNR's over 45 seconds..) even after switching off the wifi and closing anything needing the internet in the background including automatic updates..
No offense intended here but just saying..

As it was explained to me by a professional who works in the industry, the various data stored for our characters/etc aren't necessarily all stored in one place, depending on how their servers are setup. A percentage of people's data could be stored on one cluster while another percentage in another cluster. Thus, if a particular cluster isn't working properly, it will only affect those with data stored there, not everyone. That said, it would still be 100% a server side issue and still not affect everyone. This could be caused by bad coding or faulty equipment. It's been pretty consistent problem that worsened with a particular patch to the game.
I already ruled out ISP problems, routing issues, and tested any hardware at home weeks ago when the problem started, so that leaves cryptic's servers as the likely culprit. In the last couple of maintenance periods, it's gotten better with each patch (for me), which, again, supports that it's a problem on their end. I still get a few SNR's every few hours, but at least I'm not disconnecting every 5-10 minutes like it was between June 16th - July 21st.
I at least consulted people who understand what they're talking about, napalm. You just like spewing vitriol around the forums as if you're god's gift to the internet. If all you're capable of doing is making angry comments and flaming people (which your forum history is full of), maybe you should try World of Warcraft's forums. You'll find they're much more receptive to your low brow antics and childish nature.
Ok Mr. Know it all..Explain to me why the heck does everything I use work so damn well including SWTOR (maxed out on a US server) and its only STO that has a problem?? I would like to know it from you the all knowing person who thinks network professionals in the industry for ages one of them working at an airline hub charged with taking care of global network, are a bunch of idiots..Seriously??? No offense intended (Sarcasim)..Plus I have done my CCNA & CCNP..

No point talking to a TRIBBLE who has delusions of grandeur, plus I'm mature enough to not want to use colorful metaphors and waste my brain power continuing a comment thread with a TRIBBLE..Come and comment in the threads in the network forums then we will see..Till then go have your baby food and see you in the network threads if you have the balls to say what you say here, to everyone who has commented about the server issues in those threads..
