Yep that picture is nice and clear without all added text in the way. You can see the flair either way. I have tried it on my Klingon. Looks good on her and I put it on a few other non-kling characters as well. It's not restricted to gender either I think.

I may be wrong, but I think you're misunderstanding what the "Flair" is.
The John Colicos picture is NOT an example of Flair. The original intention was for Klingons to have bifurcated eyebrows. Both the up and down sweeps were supposed to be parts of the eyebrow. Flair is what Mara has (see this picture for an example). It's the upper white eyeliner part that's the Flair.
At least, that's all that seems to be added when I've selected Flair on my BOFFs.
[EDIT: Just tried adding Flair to a male aliengen Klingon. I'd only seen it on females previously. Onmales, it results in thin black lines extending outward from the eyebrows to the hairline, and eyeliner on the outside corner of the eyes. Sadly, still not like the picture of Kor, but I see what you meant.]
Bifurcated...had to look that up. You've expanded my vocabulary. Well...if that's what it's supposed to be, then it kinda does that, so no further modifications necessary.
I think the flair should work for either gender TOS Klingon. This closeup of John Colicos shows the lines looping from the eyebrows to the top of the eyelid. It's a beautiful touch and I hope they don't limit it to just the ladies.
Oooo...I should fix Ch'gren and K'gan, too....if it works on no ridges for male characters. How about that Manchu style moustache?

I think the intention was to give the western actor's portraying the TOS Klingons an air of Fu Manchu or evil Easterner mystique. "Yellowface" while not well regarded by contemporary pundits still captures the flavor of the period and gives these vintage villains a distinctive charm. Memory Alpha has an article on depictions of Klingons Here.
I went back in and had another visit to the tailor. It's possible to add flair to male and female Klingon models as long as they have the ridged forehead type. Take the same model and turn it into a humanoid head and the option isn't there. I added flair the turned the head back into a humanoid head but the tailor caught and removed it.
Next addition to the 23rd c. KDF uniforms inbound on tomorrow's patch. Sounds like some mesh texture additions. I'm really looking forward to these!
Sounds promising. If anyone has any free time could they take a screen shot of the changes. Thanks.

Can't upload screenies, but I will say this: the female KDF outfits now have arm and wrist attachments that make the mesh sleeves for Mara's outfit from "Day of the Dove" complete, Colour is fully selectable, too. I have a female BOFF who is wearing the outfit, and it looks close to the onscreen original.
Another fine addition. The extended sleeves are a convincing match for Mara's uniform and the ability to tint the sleeves seems is working for all components. I could have done a better match by substituting a pair of legging rather than the mini but I preferred it and it still has a nice Trek retro feel.
Still wish true Klingons had 2 or 3 more hair style options specific to KDF & different options for Klingon's that didn't quite include dreads or going bald. I've seen they have partially expanded this for males to include a pony tail cutoff, still it be nice to see one more option, along with 2 or 3 new ones for females.
The 23c. additions to Klingon characters is however a really nice addition. It's nice we now have humanoid klingons along with a lot of hair style choices also and were even able to maintain partial klingon ridges on the character.
Still wish Klingons had a few more hair style options specific to KDF & different options for those Rare few Klingon's who serve on the FED side. Both for male & female captain's. Seems most my KDF Captain's as a result go without hair or bald because none of the options are appealing.
I would kill for the ST:TMP hairstyle. Klingon 'high and tight'!
Yea it be mighty NICE to see a few more options for Klingon Males & Females that just didn't include dreads. I know they gave away as part of a reward one time Worf's TNG hairstyle although I'm not sure if that as limited to just Federation or Klingon Captain's but some other shorter variations for men be highly desired.
Also more options for Klingon female's with options like what we saw K'Ehleyr on TNG certainly not only round out my Captain but also the crew as well.
Just got me thinking; there's one more item of (semi-) canon TOS cosmetics still missing.
We need TAS-style disco hair:
Which also reminds me, I need to do a pink-and-purple costume variation for mu Quch'ha...
The overuse of pink in TAS (including on Klingon armor) was because the Art Director was color-blind! How's that for failing to meet minimum job requirements?
As for the female in that picture (the character's name was Kali, BTW), I made a BOFF of her, too, and used Tight Curls Medium as the closest available match (along with some unusual cranium settings to poof it up some). Later I switched to New Style Elegant and normalized the cranium settings. Not as good a stylistic match, but at least it gives more of the fuller fluffy hair effect.
Yeah, TAS has a certain nutso charm to its animation (alongside what was often remarkably good writing...) Same reason the rabidly predatory Kzinti were all in pink, IIRC.
Any chance of a shot of your "Kali" BOff? I'm curious how that worked out....
A lot of the writers for TAS came over from TOS. DC Fontana, for one. Alan Dean Foster didn't come from TOS but he wrote a few TAS episodes. He also did the novelzations for most of the TAS paperbacks. Which are excellent!

It's a good look. I've embraced my Fleet's uniform and made some modifications to it. It's more modern but still has the Klingon battle suit look. I'll have to post a few pictures when I get the chance.

I'd call you a god, but then we would have to kill you ... it's traditional.
Thank you both. I enjoy theme crews, and have always enjoyed testing myself by using character generators to match the appearances of real people. When I first got Oblivion, for example, I used myself as a model and then modeled a couple of companion NPCs on friends of mine. So I had a single player game with my friends adventuring alongside me!
At STO, I have a FED crew based on Mirror Universe versions of Pike and company from "The Cage", and another FED crew based on the original Dark Shadows characters. My two Romulan crews have a number of BOFFs who have some of my real life friends and family members as their base. I worked hard from multiple photos to try to capture the looks as much as possible, with varying degrees of success. But I enjoy the character creation process almost as much as the game - and sometimes more.
That's why it really irks me that the TOS Gorn costume is still an issue. My Gorn captain and BOFFs are frustratingly incomplete.
While i like the idea of being able to make them i still refuse to even try. and id love to have one I just dont play as aliens and until they make TOS Klingons true Klingons instead of aliens its of little playable interest.
Trophies for killing FEDS ahh those were the days.
cool then where are they found at in the creator? i have looked and could not find it so just figured it was aliens. but ill go back and look again , thanks for heads up.

@icsairguns: While my TOS Klingons ARE Aliengens because they were made LONG before AoY, AoY has now finally given us the ability to make actual Klingons as TOS Klingons. So go ahead and make some, because NOW at last you can!
All you have to do to make real TOS Klingons now (or convert old Klingons) is edit the head in the Tailor (or at character creation) as follows.
Under the HEAD tab:
At the HEAD box, choose HUMANOID, not Ridged and not Helmet.
At the SKIN box, choose KLINGON SKIN TOS.
At the FOREHEAD DETAIL box, choose NONE.
At the NOSE DETAIL box, choose NONE.
Then adjust the looks as you like on your new (or converted) TOS Klingons!
Does anyone know if "Flair" (on the eyes) is working on Klingons with no ridges, yet?
And the TOS Gorn....costume and body parts (beyond the head)?
The answer to both, unfortunately, is yes and no.
Yes, I know the answer,
And
No, neither is working.
Flair works on Aliengen fake Klingons, and ridged Klingons, but not real TOS Klingons (which is ironic, because Mara, a TOS Klingon originated it).
And only the TOS Gorn head is working. The DEVs listed the fact that the TOS Gorn outfit was not unlocked as a known issue in former patch notes, then it was dropped from the list without explanation or being fixed. the same thing happened with the Romulan BOFF Recruitment DOFF missions for Romulan players, but then (after many complaints and reminders of this fact in subsequent Patch Note threads) it was suddenly fixed. Perhaps the same will happen with the TOS Gorn outfits, especially since our new CM is at Cryptic, and sympathetic to KDF.
