New ships tend to be seen a lot then levels off after some time. When it was new, Jupiters were all over the place. Now? You'll be challenged to see one. The same with the Breen Heavy Raider and countless other playable ships.
I actually started off wanting the Vengeance more... but as Ive seen them I think Ive come to prefer the JJprize
I wouldnt bother. I have both and the JJprise dosent feel as sturdy or as heavy hitting as the Vengeance. I find the big black monster to be far more enjoyable to fly

well atm I still need like 200mil ec before either is even an option
I'm just taking advantage of the popularity to get screenshots. Seeing my little pathfinder sitting between two Vengeance and a Tholian ship below can make for interesting shots. Otherwise I don't care. I didn't even know what people were talking about for the longest time with this Vengeance class stuff. I had just assumed it was another future timeline ship.
I've been seeing a lot of them too. They even park next to mine.
While the Eclipse is one of the best battlecruisers Feds have access to, its lack of a hangar bay and no 5/3 setup make the Vengeance more complete. It trades away turn rate for toughness, which to me is a good thing as I simply shuffle power levels to help turn with DHC if I need to get somewhere quicker. Not ideal like the Avenger/Arbiter where you can do that and also use its turn cruiser commands, but really, it's the best of both of those ships combined and then some.
The KT-lockbox-Contents are NOT in the Infinity-lockboxes. They will be added in when the NEXT Infinity-lockbox hits and will only be in those boxes acquired after their release. so the current I-Lockbox only contains everything up to the Na'Kuhl-lockbox-Contents.
It's actually 2 infinity lock boxes from now as the previous Na'kuhl contents were not in the current infinity box.
Oh... you're darn right there. Thanks for pointing it out
In any case, the point was that a little patience would let you gamble on a Lock Box that lets you choose something you want even if you don't get lucky and land the ship. I do admit that impatience is a good part of how F2P games make money, but the Infinity Lock Box really is a great way of getting nice things even if you don't get the thing you really wanted.
To clarify, by "a little patience" I mean "waiting for the KT Lock Box contents to be added to the Choice Packs from the Infinity Lock Box."
With each passing day I wonder if I stepped into an alternate reality. The Cubs win the world series. Donald Trump is President. Britain leaves the EU. STO gets a dedicated PvP season. Engineers are "out of control" in STO.

Once that happens you will start to see some people moving back to whatever their old favorite was, but for some, this may become their favorite.
At least until the next ship comes along.
The funny thing is there's already a ship that's very close to it, even for the Feds.
The Eclipse.
Cmdr Intel/ENG Hybrid Station? Check.
Flexible BOFF layout? Check.
Gather Intel gimmick? Check.
Cloak? Check.
Fed Account Unlock? Nope, the Eclipse is because it's in the C-Store, wheras Vengeance is a 900 Lobi Ship and "One Buy, One Character."
Superior handling? Eclipse easily wins this.
