I got the D4X for one of my characters now, too. I hope this counts as my duty towards supporting the Klingon Cause and reducing the "Klingon ships don't sell" factor.

The T6 Connie threads weren't wanting the JJ-Connie. They were wanting the TOS / TMP Connie Refit. The fact that the JJ-Connie made it into the game, as a T6 boat on top of that, while the original franchise Connie / Connnie-Refit hasn't it's a bit of B.S. On top of it, Cryptic rolls out a heavily TOS-flavored update with newly designed TOS styled ships for endgame use, but SPECIFICALLY left out the original Constitution-class of the franchise for endgame. They went out of their way to do everything else but the original Constitution.
As for the BOP with Pilot Manevuers and the Romulan Carrier... They're tied behind a Lockbox. Faction Ships tied behind a Lockbox. That's Trolltastic.

It's not unprecedented (Temporal Science Vessels, anyone?) and I can well believe it was a prerequisite to get KT ships into the game. It is a shame, as the D4 is what the T6 raiders should always have been - I think I was in love at the point at which I managed to flip out of the way of incoming fire into a point-blank rear flank attack. I only wish I could say it was deliberate .

For a more KDF feel I recommend using the Terran Shield, Deflector, Engines visuals on the Temporal Raider, with the actually weapons being Fleet Klingon Disurptors and/or torpedoes, with Fleet Shields, Engines, ect...
That should give the Temporal Raider which as far as I'm concerned is a BoP, a very KDF look.

They look very different from each other, even if the stats are the same. A bit like many of the cross-faction 3-packs and 9-packs.

ANd that's of course because Feds do just want more things and are never satisfied, and the KDF is very happy with the little things it has, and rarely, if ever, asks for anything.
Instead of having to do with the faction population imbalance.

This video shows the customizations and shield/set skins for the Temporal Raider.
When you put the right shields visuals on it, this ship looks down right predatory, it seems to have teeth that make me think of the Nausicaans.
Also learned that the gemstone looking things on the Temporal Ships like the 31st Century Ships and Wells are Temporal Drives.
