23c Vulcan: species trait stuck in personal ground trait slot [found a workaround]

EDIT: WORKAROUND
I went to spend a skill point but accidentally clicked the retrain button by mistake and confirmed it (I was in a hurry and clicked without paying attention). I forgot that respecing empties out your ground and space traits. My species trait was cleared out and I now have the trait slot free to use for whatever trait I want.

My new 23rd century female Vulcan has her species trait, Physical Strength, stuck in a personal ground trait slot and I can't get rid of it. The available traits list only has 2 traits selected and Physical Strength is not in the list. I am able to switch out the other 2 traits just fine though.

    Just noticed this too: the first bridge officer a ToS character gets, Tarsi, is andorian but has the Leadership trait. Is this right? Last I heard only human species had that trait. It looks like the traits this boff gets is a copy of Elise Flores' traits (the first boff Federation captains get).

    Yeah, I've noticed the Vulcan problem as well;

    It's not just 23c Vulcans, it's 25c ones as well. Between this and the glitches AoY has caused with already-existing TOS-based material (Klingon Disruptors and Federation Type 1, Type 2 and Type 3 Phasers from the 'Spectres' arc and 'City on the Edge of Never' taking up slots but being unusable and non-interactable, the Constitution/Constitution 2267 bridge having gaps to space, etc.), I'm starting to think that the expansion could have used another month of bug-hunting and clean-up...

    If I remember right, we had the same issue when they revamped the trait system. I think my Reman had his species trait stuck in a personal ground trait slot. They were able to fix it back then without breaking our characters to the point we had to delete and start over. So hopefully they can fix it again.

    I think all the BOff traits are Copy/Pasted. Take a look at Skavrin - last time I checked, "Corrosive Blood" was a Bolian trait (that is, Zarva), not a Tellarite one...

    It's possible. To be honest, boff traits aren't as important to me as a personal ground trait slot with a species trait that isn't suppose to be there, taking up a slot I could be using for something else.

    Agreed - half the time, the only BOff trait I really pay attention to is a Talaxian's Salvage 'Specialist'. but this 'Physical Strength' issue is interfering with my character building.

    Alternate Workaround found as well!
    Click an available trait in the list and just drag and drop it into the slot over Physical Strength - it replaces it and can be cleared out and replaced as normal.

    well I made a Vulcan because of the physical strength trait, for melee purposes. Now I do not have it at all, right when I got a good melee weapon. Made me quit playing again.
