What are your plans for server downtime on the 6th of July?

in Star Trek Online General Discussion
got any plans for the day during the server downtime? For me I'll be playing the ps4 for a while and watch some videos too ^^

    Likely I'll be sleeping during the downtime since it would be at 6 am for me on the US Pacific Coast so by the time I wake up, the game might be patched and up.

    I will be at work. Hope to try to get it downloaded when I get off later the day. Unless the server does something bad.

    Forum PvP? Or just watching the entertainment of others partaking in FPvP...

    If it gets too boring, I might just get some work done and/or do something evil like "enjoy the weather" if it's a good day...
    Detecting big-time "anti-old-school" bias here. NX? Lobi. TOS/TMP Connie? Super-promotion-box. (aka the two hardest ways to get ships) Excelsior & all 3 TNG "big hero" ships? C-Store. Please Equalize...

    It happens i have the day off which means i my schedule is packed from the moment i wake up till midnight.
    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

      A chat channel outside the game for us who are not Gold perhaps? Cryptic ran their own IRC channel a long time ago but dropped it. I jumped into #sto on QuakeNet instead. feel free to join me there.

      So something happening on the 6th? Can't be a new expansion launching as they would have been having lots and lots of blogs pushing it down our throats but no, they seem strangely quiet (surely they can set the web site to trigger announcements in advance). :(

      Seriously I will likely just go back to one of the other games I do during normal downtimes and maybe wait until the following morning to level in earnest and earn those rewards.

        I work overnights, so I get home at the time they start the maintenance so I just go to bed. I'm hoping to have some time to try AOY in the afternoon/evening after I wake up.

        I'm just hoping I don't go through all the new content in one evening. :)

        Oh, because sometimes I like to actually play the game that inspires such... heated and intense... stances?

        Depends on which downtime.

        As soon as the servers come back up? I pretty much expect this to happen.
