Cold Case - Asteroid Debris Bugged

When doing this mission on my level 60 KDF toon the asteroid debris in the "Preserved for Posterity" portion (S'hinga System) 0/3 is not targetable even though the 3 targets are visible. Unable to complete mission. It appears this bug has been around for a while link. The bug was first reported in 2010.

    This is not a bug. The problem was between the chair and the keyboard (user error). I encountered the same problem during Operation Gamma "Salvaged Relations" when trying to shoot the shield generator to get to Farek and figured it must be a setting.

    It appears on this toon under Options/Controls "Never Auto Target Objects" was set to on. After setting it to off all was well.

    Solved (and well en route with alts to catching up on missions for the upcoming FE replay).

    There IS a fix. Set Tractor beam repulsors 1 on your LT science Boff, park real close and activate. You will now have 3 Juicy Targets to obliterate.

    As far as operation gamma 'salvaged relations' bug is concerned, the fix THERE (since you must do it in a shuttle) is to either have a yellowstone runabout with TBR ability, reach level 5 in Nukara Reputation and activate Refracting Tetryon Cascade, or team up with a buddy who has the T5 Nukara ability and have them trigger it.
