Warp Core Upgrade didn't work

I've just upgraded my Field Stabilizing Warp Core Mk X [ECap] [EPS] [W>A] all the way to MK XIV UR and noticed that the whilst the item itself changed in rarity it gave it no additional stats at all.

I had hoped that it would gain the [AMP] modifier, or at least some other mod but it's exactly the same core but UR and now I'm feeling more than a little short changed. This can't be right can it?
I notice that if I were tempted to take it to Epic I would get the additional [W>S] Modifier like other cores.

cryptic has said it is part of the programing. so don't expect them to fix it. i have tried many time to get them to fix it. even though i pointed out that it should get a new modification added to it for going ultra rare.
