Oookay, I'm just gonna note that I saw the title of this thread in the dev tracker and wondered if there'd been a crossover with Blizzard and were they really that desperate to push the movie.
Andoria is an Ice world, so I'm sure that something evolutionary is at work to protect their "junk." Maybe a mooseknuckle adjustment slider will be created to go along with the one for boobies?
Well, I was thinking about getting that outfit for my new TOS captain (it would have been fun to switch to that in Hakeev's arena) but if it's classified as swimwear? Heck, no. Risa is still a holiday paradise. There's absolutely no way in hell any iof my chars would wear a thrall outfit with a collar there. So thanks, I guess for the lack of motivation to grind Lohlunat Favours. I'll stick to pearls until I get the escort.
FKA K-Tar, grumpy Klingon/El-Aurian hybrid. Now assimilated by PWE.
Sometimes, if you want to bury the hatchet with a Klingon, it has to be in his skull. - Captain K'Tar of the USS Danu about J'mpok.

That reminds me... just for reference, the outfit is divided into: top, shorts, long pants, gloves, boots, neck. So it's possible to do a bunch of mix-n-match. Still swimwear, though. (And very little on color options - the top, for ex, has four shades of silver, from bright white to almost black.)
It does seem to be a consistent, conscious race to reach the absolute lowest common denominator of player, Jo. Agreed.
to be fair, if thats your qualifications for lowest common denominator then star trek was born from the lowest common denominator.
It's not the outfit itself that's the issue, it's the type of player that will most likely be equipping the outfit on a regular basis that will be unbearable.
Which would only be a very small minority of the playerbase, if it actually happens.
So you're against these outfits because some players might be perverted role players?
I've never once seen an "erotic role player" in this game. If you find them all the time, as you claim, it's because you spend all your time actively seeking out other players to harass. All so you can make yourself to look like some kind of hero.
You certainly have one heck of an imagination there, bookah.

The collar is an option which is unlocked with the Retro outfit. Characters don't *have* to wear it. You can even wear it with other swimwear if you want.

Are you saying those may not be antennas?
only one way to find out; next time you see a male andorian, walk up and give them a squeeze - if it sounds like a happy moan, they're probably genitals; if it sounds like a pained one, they...well, actually they might still be genitals
i don't think i thought this through very well...never mind - carry on
A normie goes "Oh, what's this?"
An otaku goes "UwU, what's this?"
A furry goes "OwO, what's this?"
A werewolf goes "Awoo, what's this?"
"It's nothing personal, I just don't feel like I've gotten to know a person until I've sniffed their crotch." "We said 'no' to Mr. Curiosity. We're not home. Curiosity is not welcome, it is not to be invited in. Curiosity...is bad. It gets you in trouble, it gets you killed, and more importantly...it makes you poor!"
Passion and Serenity are one.
I gain power by understanding both.
In the chaos of their battle, I bring order.
I am a shadow, darkness born from light.
The Force is united within me.
@monkeybone13 there are plenty of them out there. You don't even have to look hard. Not going to get into it, because I know how prone you are to forum rants (and apologizing for said rants later). I'll just repeat that they're out there, and the summer event always brings them back in greater numbers.
It's really the children who suffer, though.
Well maybe you're right. Maybe I'm just lucky not to see them.
Funny thing is, it's probably the "children" that are doing it.

You're welcome.
Whatever. If I ever did find one, I'd report and ignore. I'm not gonna waste my time seeking out weirdos in this game to tell them to get out. I got better things to do.
Heh...
Star Trek was NEVER about Wholesome Values.
It was Adult Oriented Entertainment (Very SEXUAL in nature) that could also be watched by kids.
Roddenberry pushed the boundaries extensively in just about every episode.
Including when he was working on TNG.
Funny how you seem to ignore that fact every time you open your mouth.
