@anodynes That little string of lights banner that starts on June 9th? Yeah, that's the Risa banner. I've only seen one Risa and I can tell you that, so... y'know.
No, the thing that you click on that has the information about the event is the banner, which still doesn't show up until you switch the thing to July. That is the border, and might even be the same as the border for the anniversary and Winter events, if memory serves. It looks like a string of Christmas lights, after all. Point is that people don't pay that close attention to small details like a border, and might not even notice it. All of these people saying that it was on the calendar before today were just assuming that everyone noticed the border, and would understand that that almost certainly meant Lohlunat, without any further information. I was pretty much 100% certain of it, but didn't try and belittle others by saying that there was clear information that they should see on the calendar when there really wasn't any. You, however, did.
This is an MMO, not a Star Trek episode simulator. That would make for a terrible game.
the border is in honor of the lights the Risians put up on the palm trees on the weekends during Lohlunat. Really cool detail. They are only lit for the weekends. The winter calendar indicator is different - snowy sort of thing I think.
