I hate having to post this up, since there's about a dozen other threads lon this particular topic right now, but the truth is getting buried in the hubbub about the whole thing, so I'm hoping that people will see this and not feel the need to create another thread on the topic. Hope nobody minds.
Here's the truth, straight from the developers and Trendy's mouth:
TRENDY: "There are more than six missions."
Source:
GEKO:
"It is a new faction - we were coy about calling it a new faction in the press release - there was some marketing concerns about the connotations of it, but it's at least as much of a new faction as Romulans. It's just technically still Federation, right, it's just Federation from 2270 instead of 2409. It's a new faction, a new starting experience with its own arc, its own content specifically for them."Source:

(at around the 24 minute mark)
GEKO:
...this is not a separate game, so I don't want people think that if you're going to play TOS faction that you're just going to be in the TOS world and that we are going to make all our, we're going to make hundreds of hours worth of content for the TOS expansion...and have all its own separate queues and were gonna be bifurcating the community, that's just that's just silly. Thats not viable, its not sustainable, that's not good business...Source:

IS Agents of Yesterday a FED ONLY expansion?
"In addition to the ability to create a brand new Star Trek: The Original Series Starfleet captain, we will be introducing a new episode arc for players of every faction,"
Source: AoY Announcement[/i]
Content announced for Agents of Yesteday that has not yet been released to Tribble:
[*] Temporal Specialization (all factions)
[*] Temperal Initiative Resistance Reputation (all factions)
[*] Temporal Agent Recruitment (TOS Characters/Faction only. Unlocks for all characters on account. Similar to the Delta Recruit system)
[*] 10 new ships - not including Pioneer (5 Fed only, 5 cross faction
From the "Agents of Yesterday" Announcement Trailer:
- At approximately 49 seconds: The Guardian of Forever is shown. Standing before it are characters in TOS era uniforms.
- At Approximately 52 seconds: The Doomsday Device is shown. Around it are ships from the TOS era, it appears that the Enterprise is among them
While this may be just PR that ties into elements of TOS lore, these two elements being featured in the trailer strongly suggests that we will be encountering them in missions that have yet to be released to Tribble yet.
Sulu's likeness is that of George Takei in the game. George Takei has not been announced to be coming aboard as a voice actor yet. Sulu does not feature in any of the missions that have been released yet - aside from a brief conversation. It is highly unlikely that Cryptic would have spent the money to obtain the rights to put Mr. Takei's likeness in the game without also hiring him to come aboard as a voice actor. It is extremely unlikely that they would pay an actor to do voice over work for 2 or 3 lines of dialog. Likewise, the actors that are featured in the episodes released to tribble so far are underutilized, and hardly justify the expense involved in likeness rights/voice acting/model creation and animation, etc.
Artwork has been released of Scotty in his movie era uniform. This version of the character has not been seen in game yet.
Supposition: Legacy of Romulus has around 20 missions for Romulan Characters. If Agents of Yesterday and the TOS faction is "at least as much of a new faction as Romulans." then it's implied that there are more than 6 missions. Add to that that Trendy has explicitly said that there are more than six missions (see above) and we're left with the impression that there are more than 6 missions.
Please feel free to add any other evidence to this thread that supports the fact that there are more than 6 missions.
Thank you.
(Note: The author of this thread is still trying to get people to believe the fact that "THERE ARE FOUR LIGHTS!")

AoY is a Work In Progress... expecting it to be complete on tribble now is like expecting a finished game during an alpha- or closed-beta test.

1) There are over 15 planets/points of interest on the sector space map in the AoY expansion, and we've visited maybe 7 of them.
2) There are several actors that have had likenesses added to the game for this expansion (one of which hasn't been announced as coming aboard to do voiceover work yet). The likelihood of them spending the money to bring in these voice over actors for one or two missions is highly unlikely. Plus, one of those "actors" hasn't been seen in a mission yet.
3) It's been said that a previous voice actor would be returning for this expansion/or at least for something somehow related to it. The mission(s) featuring that actor are not yet on Tribble.
Any other factables or truthiness out there?
Wow...that just goes on and on forever don't it?
Also...Directed by RICHARD DONNER?!
Yep...
And a couple of years before, that same creative team brought us "Gilligan's Isle".

Interesting to note that this is a John Williams piece.

Yeah, but it'd probably be better for people not to have to wade through three pages of videos before they get to the truth right?

But I suppose it keeps the tread on the front page, when it otherwise would be buried by other threads that are also pointlessly spammed up with the same old minion memes. So as I said...knock yourselves out.

Anyway, back to the point, someone tried to give the evidence in another discussion, but everyone was too busy raising their pitchforks and torches. So, thanks again, OP, for having common sense and gobs of decency.
I did that myself in about 4 different threads spread around the forums, and figured that I'd had enough banging my head against the wall and it would just be easier to START a thread with the facts, rather than have it buried in the other ones. Glad you found it helpful. Spread the word!
I remember something vaguely like that myself, particularly about him saying that they didn't want Tribble to be where everyone comes to play the new content and not really test it.
But my fuzzy memory seem to think that this slowly trickling it out to test has been a common practice for all the expansions. They're still tweaking things up until launch anyways, so I'm sure we'll see just about everything.
Not completely true. Although there won't be unique missions for the other factions, there will still be new missions that everyone can do. From the AoY Announcement blog:
"In addition to the ability to create a brand new Star Trek: The Original Series Starfleet captain, we will be introducing a new episode arc for players of every faction,"
Good one. I added it to the original post, just for some added clarification. Thanks!
This is the part they seem to keep missing. We know the entire AoY expansion will have more than 6 missions, the question is will the new "faction" have more missions, or is it a glorified tutorial before getting dumped into 'faction-agnostic' content.
The fact that they are so hilariously incapable of giving a straight answer to such a simple yes or no question does not bode well.
You'll still be able to play the new additions to the game either way..., If you choose too.

- the new AOY toons get to play 6 unique missions and join the normal timeline
- all other toons plus AOY toons after hitting lvl 50 (or some other lvl decided by cryptic) will get to play a new AOY story arc with as many missions as there normally are (4-5 FE plus some PVE queues)
- AOY reputation with blue phasers (perhaps old Romulan and KDF energy weapons as well?)
- some new traits and lockboxes
