Featured Episode Rerun?

Some of you might remember these from a couple of years ago, during the event you got some cool loot for completing certain missions.
Breen & Reman Boffs
The Shard of Possibilities
The Ophidian Cane
Free Lobi Crystals
etc.

When I created my DR toon a year ago, I had hoped that we would get a FE Rerun event so I could get these items again as before that they would run every few months.

As these episodes have all been kept following the improvements, I was just wondering if it will once again be possible to get these items, particularly on our brand new shiny TOS characters or are they gone for good?

    Yeah, I wonder if we'll have any FE reruns as well. Particularly those that had a ship reward at the end of them. Yes, I actually like the Dyson Science Destroyer and the Obelisk carrier. I just wish I could get them on toons that don't have them without having to spend a ton of lobi.
    Now a LTS and loving it.
    Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
    I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything. :D

    Yeah, I think so too. Doesn't hurt to wish or ask. Never know when you'll get lucky. ;)

    I believe that they stopped doing the FE reruns because they didn't like the idea of giving away free lobi. I think they said once that if they ever return they won't have the lobi, and doubt that anyone would bother then.

    I for one wouldn't cry if they brought them back sans lobi. I played for the rewards. I'm pretty sure that others would think the same.

    I wouldn't care if they removed the lobi, I just want my shard of possibilities.

    I would agree to the FE reruns without Lobi. There's going to be a lot of new characters coming around with AoY. Keeping such useful items as the shard of possibilities from them would be cruel.

    Lobi was never that important I think. Didn't we get it upon completion of an accolade? That would mean you'd only be able to get it once on each character. Even if you had 10 characters that didn't have those accolades yet, you were unlikely to get enough lobi to buy anything that isn't some costume or weapon. Maybe a shuttle if you played all four episodes on between 10 and 15 characters, but that would be about it. And it would be a huge grind of course.

    So I guess that most people actually played those episodes for the rewards. Even if they removed the lobi, it would likely still be appreciated if these were brought back.

    They HAVE NOT run those in years and wouldn't hold my breath. Specially now with the Summer event coming real soon followed by the expansion. Hoping as well but wouldn't bet the car on it.​​

    They can keep their stupid Lobi. I just want the cane, shard, and BO mission rewards. Move those to the account reclaim store so I can grab them on future toons, and I'll stop caring about the featured episode replay, too.

    I've just looked at the calendar and it looks like they are going to be doing an FE Rerun on the 30th June.

    While awesome that they're bringing it back, I would prefer that they wait until after AoY. The three events at once is just too much at once. It only gives TOS characters a week to get through all the levels to get the special rewards.

    Don't kill yourself trying to get those rewards for TOS Characters. Now that they are finally rerunning this you can count on more in the future.

    Hopefully, they have also added the 'Dust to Dust' Episode so we can get the Kobali Outfit as well.

    This is good news indeed ! I've been waiting for another opportunity to get the unique BOFFs and items on my newest toons.

    Take note that it does not say "featured episode replay", instead it says "featured series replay". Implying that now youll have to do the whole season to get the reward rather than the actual episode.

    I don't think that semantic distinction is actually present in the game code.

    It started before they were individual episodes. We had entire Featured Episode chains. Last one they did though in that format was The 2800 (Dominion FE).

    We never had to run the entire series for the FE rewards in the past. They won't make us do it now. They're just gonna flip the switch that says the special rewards are available again. All we have to do if we have a character that ran through them all is play the last one that has said reward.

    Would be nice if they did add the Dust to Dust Kobali outfit, as that was pretty popular when it was available.

    I'm afraid this isn't the case.

    I just read the detailed description in the calendar and it's very specific. It says feature series then lists all the episodes in each of the 4 series with the rewards you can get for completing the series. Kobali is not included.

    They could have just reused preexisting text. I say lets wait until we get closer to the event. They may surprise us with the Dev Blog yet.

    Oh, thank you, Devs! I'll run a whole series if I have to if the reward(s) come after the end. That isn't a big deal. Especially if the Breen DOFF is coming back. I'd love him on some of my others. I think I only have him on one of my toons.

    Many of the Blogs of late are 'imprecise' in particulars to say the least. Look at the recent one for the XP Bonus Weekend. Calendar Entries are even worse with wrong end times, etc.

    That would be crazy to make you do the entire Arc to get the Unique Reward that comes from only one Episode in that Arc.

    Didn't we get burnout from the Delta Recruits when many had just twisted their way through the Arcs for the Rewards to have them turn around in a couple of weeks and have an Episode Reruns Galactic Event?

    Don't get me going on that Kobali Uniform. It was one of the first week's rewards for 'Dust to Dist'. The Blog said NOTHING about it being a limited time reward. That only came out by a Developer's statement in the middle of a rather lengthy Thread on that Featured Episode. I had about four Characters that could have picked it up but didn't as I figured I could run it later. Surprise.

    Usually once a day the first Character on an Account running any of the Featured Reruns would get 15 Lobi for the Account. Don't know if that is happening this year.

    I will go after the Breen BOFF. As that one I like adding to my crew. So I can care less about the lobi, since it was a small amount. Still the lobi did pay for my Vaddwuar rifle and warrior skirt for 2 characters to use.

    Apparently I have to complete every episode in an arc to get the rewards. If that's so then no thank you, you can keep the rewards.
