Not bad at all, the new characters are good. Papela Lot biting your head off for asking a simple question was a nice touch. Some dialogue may need proof reading in places then corrected where necessary

I think it glitched out on me. After I got the three parts of the info nothing else happened and the map had blank spots of it "5ft" on it. I'll try again tomorrow

One of the consoles in that room is not vital to that objective. Just tested it, they're all there.

I ran mirror wars 3 again, this this time in the Meteor (T6 Fleet Defiant) to get a good idea how the escorts performed. The opening battle can be a pain if you are using cannons but attack pattern omega proved very handy with the pilot abilities.

The combat is a fun test of your build and abilities so as a build test, it's very good. It's not too hard or easy, it's about right.

The new characters are interesting on the second play through as are the traditional easter egg hunts.
Dialogue wise, it would be nice to have some options that do not aggravate Regent Lot in the battle of Tyree though cutting her off was amusing.

The complicated Lot family relationship is a bit mental at times with the near constant arguments between mother and daughter, that relationship fully developed would be interesting.

I will expand on the Lot backstory once I get @galatt 's blessing on an idea or two.

TWOK era sounds interesting. Would it be after Spock's reforms that crippled the empire or an alternate timeline where Kirk stopped him from taking the Enterprise?

          I like the TWOK look.
The "bare our midriff for easy stabbing" look always seemed strange to me.
Finally finished my play through, as usual it was fun. I'll have to play it again as I know I missed a lot of the dialog easter eggs.
          I have two comments;
          1) With all your allies helping, the last space battle is almost too easy. I was facing the wrong way when it spawned and by the time I got turned around and in range it was already dead.
          2) When on the station, when you come up to the doors being blocked by guards you could have them say something about restricted area leave or be shot

Reason why my crews wear the standard odyssey uniform with Terran badge and 22nd century terran belt, colours are navy blue on the shoulders with black for the rest of the costume with the divisional stripe a darker shade of the federation department stripe.

Also the the main reason is that on my ships, men and women are considered equals regardless of species

You jumped straight to part 2?

            1. When I tested it in the foundry it ws reserved ... the enemy ships would pop the allies before I even got close.

            2. I could do that.

My Oddy wrecked those rebel ships a little too easy in part 2, need more fight in them or possibly increase their numbers somewhat.

May need to run it in the Defiant

I would hope so. Those rebel ships were built 200 odd years ago.

                Updated the Valdez character's bio.

Date of Birth: 20th July 2370
                Homeworld: Terra Prime
                Marital Status-Married (wife is Betazoid)

Earned his first battle honor at the Liberation of Betazed in 2390, at the rank of Lt, he was a member of the 173rd Assault Infantry division which liberated the Betazoid Capital and Regent's palace suffering heavy losses in the progress

Transferred to Starfleet in 2391 and rose through the ranks on hard work and duty being neutral with crew infighting eventually gaining captaincy of the I.S.S. Meteor 2399

Fought with distinction in the Alliance war, leading a squadron of Defiants through the thickest fighting all the way to Cardassia

Gained the rank of admiral in 2406 and appointed to Fleet command and military governor of the Vulcan Sector.

During the Iconian War, he led the 7th Imperial Guard Assault Fleet defeating the Iconians in battle after battle using aggressive fire brigade defence tactics, he would roll with the punches and lure them into preset kill zones where they would be finished off and destroyed with co-ordinated hit and run strikes and envelopment tactics

Promoted to Fleet Admiral in the aftermath of the Iconian War by the emperor himself, he formed Strike Group Inquisitor. He handpicked the best and brightest crews and captains to man the new classes of hunter killer ships in Imperial service

He has a reputation for taking the worst and turning them into the best combat officers in the empire with a carrot and stick approach to discipline and realistic field training conditions, to him his crews are like family and are well looked after.

His command style is aggressive but logical, in planning operations he has advised many Imperial admirals on the use of unorthodox tactics and his insight is valuable in times of war

Current assignment: Commanding Officer I.S.S. Samurai
                Paladin Class Battle cruiser
                Flagship of Strike Group Inquisitor

Cool log/entry ... I do love reading what you guys come up with.

                  Here's a question for you.

The Terran Empire/Republic fell in 2295 ... so none of the later Entrprises would have been built (C, D, E, F) ... would you object if the next Enterprise (Odyssey) of the Terran Empire (Yellow) had the registry of ICC-1701-C ?

What about the Sovereign/Regent instead of the Odyssey?
The Enterprise E is a beautiful ship so perfect choice for a "C"

Valdez's record shows he's very comfortable around Betazoids, he's been married to one for 15 years

Okay small update ... I've thrown Mirror Wars 1 and Mirror Wars 3 [II] back into the spell checker. Found some odd bits that were wrong ... I've fixed that.

Yes or No? If/When I get some spare time. Should I remake Mirror Wars 1 ?

Naa I didn't have any problems with it and if you obsess over it then you will never make progress with the series.
Better to finish the series and then go back to it with a fresh out look.

I'm struggling on my projects, I want to do two versions of one ground assault.
Dominion War Black Hawk Down scenario during the 2375 Battle of Betazed and also want to cover what happened between the capture of Regent Worf by the Terran Rebellion and the Red Empire Mirror Wars timeline at the 2390 liberation of Betazed from Alliance control.

                    Where to start?

                        Stardate 2410/10

Starfleet Command, Sol System (mirror universe)

Admiral Nathan Valdez had been recalled to Terra for debriefing by Starfleet Command. " Admiral Janeway, you being at this meeting means somethings up." Valdez said informally, "a bombing on Trill does not go unnoticed admiral" replied Janeway.

At his debriefing, Valdez laid out his intel and possible courses of action.
"Admiral Heath has taken over operations in the Bajor and Trill sectors and Regent Lot has pledged her support for uniting the empire so we have the Betazed sector secure from Leeta. I've diverted two heavy Battleship fleets to protect Sol and have sent Admiral Heath two assault task groups, the rest of my fleets will be deployed to protecting the Vulcan sector" he reported to to the assembled admirals.

Most of the assembled senior admirals questioned the plan, they wanted an immediate assault on Leeta's traitor forces. Admiral Janeway approved Valdez's elastic defence in depth plan for the Vulcan sector and gave him one order, "Hold that sector at all costs, we lose the Vulcan sector we lose Sector 001" Janeway told Valdez. "understood maam" Valdez replied back and saluted.

A little time later on the Inquisitor, Valdez decided strike group Inquisitor would the core of the the defence acting as a fire brigade and enforcement. He had arrived at Donatu, rather than negotiate he ordered every ship in the group to glass every population centre on Donatu III. Donatu had resisted occupation for decades, it's destruction would serve as a warning to any other system thinking on declaring for Leeta.

As Strike Group Inquisitor was preparing to leave orbit, a traitor destroyer squadron jumped out of warp opening fire on the strike group. Valdez responded immediately, his cruisers turned and engaged the front of the traitor attack as the escorts sliced through the flanks knocking out warp drives with the first strikes. The traitors were now surrounded on all sides with nowhere to go. Of the sixteen destroyers that opened the attack, 8 had been destroyed in a matter of minutes. Valdez now gave the order "witch's cauldron" and all ships combined their firing solutions and opened up from all sides, 6 more destroyers followed as the last 2 pleaded for surrender terms. Valdez decided to let them live, he wanted Leeta to know what had transpired. If she wanted the Vulcan Sector, she would have to fight for it against an opponent who will make life unbearable for any attacker.

Valdez left the bridge and went to the war room on deck 9 to organise his sector and fleets for all out total war. After all he was fighting for more than the empire, he also had a powerful incentive to succeed.
He would be fighting to protect his wife and daughter on Betazed from Leeta.

On Betazed, Tianna Valdez was assigned to the Betazoid secret police on Regent Lot's orders. Her time working with her husband on the Inquisitor had given her invaluable insight on catching traitors, already all Terran troops on Betazed not loyal to the empire had been purged and their forces replaced with Betazoid regiments. Betazed had been fully pacified and 2 regiments of Betazoids were sent to reinforce Admiral Valdez's forces, Tianna simply said to Regent Lot, "My husband knows exactly how to use them effectively". Regent Lot simply smiled, it was a sign of unity for the empire and as a propaganda tool it was perfect.

"We just need to get more sectors to our cause be it through political means or the the careful application of violence " Regent Lot explained in a very cold and calculating way, "Captain Valdez, news from Donatu",
Teanna read the report, "a win for our side, Vulcan sector is secure as long as the Admiral can keep fighting, he'll need some support from us be it troops, ships and protected supply lines" Captain Valdez said with a smile.

The Ask'kaar Republic has agreed to cooperate with the United Federation of Planets for a series of missions into the region of space called the Badlands. Forces from a realm the UFP have designated the Mirror Universe attacked a convoy we sent to a federation colony in the KinJun System, we lost contact with all the vessels we sent and now the Fleet Commander feels the presence of one of our dreadnoughts in the area will prevent any more attacks.

On the subject of the Federation colony on Kinjun. I've seen the damage caused by the attackers. There were bodies everywhere, and the blood ... we found blood in the nearby lakes, my doctors tell me the creatures that inhabit the waters, consumed several members of the officers stationed here. The ... the remains of those officers were found at the bottom of the lake ... there wasn't much left.

Starfleet has asked us to deliver the bodies to the U.S.S. Day tomorrow. We've set a course to rendezvous with them.

                          Cardasia Sector

The Entrei'is had been following the her target for nearly a a day now, the Guardian cruiser seemed to be following a random course, system to system with no apparent pattern... Possibly to throw off purist or maybe to hide something. At this point sitting in this nebula which blocked long range communications Roy sat in the comfortable captains chair of her the bridge, resting her head on her clenched fist.

"What are you doing Benjamin?" She ponder out loud. "Anything on sensors?"

"Nothing but this blasted space cloud, and I.S.S. Siege... Which just started sending a short range tight beam transmission. " Said the new officer at the science station.

"Can we listen in?" Emma asked sharply.

"Two objects decloaking mam, at 20 and nineteen kilomiters."

The Emma snapped upright raising a questioning eyebrow. "On main viewer then."

An asteroid and Oddessy appeared, and the Siege slowly began moving into its large hanger, holding several other ships, and dozens of workbees. This wasn't what Emma was paying attention to however.

She folder her fingers together calmly... This was- wrong to easy but still the opportunity wasn't one she could loose.

"... Enterprise... " Quickly she opened a ship wide message from her control pad. "I want this done quickly and professionally!"

She stood up and leaned over her tactical officer. "Ready ten spatial charges for transport into the habitual section of the asteroid, and prep three heavy tricolbalt torpedoes for the hangar. I've got something special for Enterprise."

"I'll need thirty minutes to complete the whole set."
                          "You've got twenty five."

Determined Roy went to the brig and after ensuring she was alone entered the high security cell, and opened her personal hidden passage way.

The lights in the adjoining room didn't come on immediately but she didn't need them. Wearing a wicked smile her face was illuminated in a pale green glow.

                          -Twenty minutes later-

All at once charges were transported en-mass to their target locations delivering their deadly payloads, several of which read "Enjoy you traitors!"

The additional explosions mined out several new tunnels in the asteroid base and the docked vessels were torn apart save for the Siege.

Emma's anti-matter explosive went off on the bridge of the 'Enterprise' next, only to have no effect on the hologram, which faded into nothingness. Roy growled in frustration.

"Raise shields and fire main phaser lance, all cannons open up and mind your fire; I don't want the Siege destroyed." She ordered.

The massive energy beam tore off the cruiser's port nacelle before being disabled by the ravening power of the heavy cannons.

                          "Life signs?"
"342 traitors left, shall I resume fire?"
"No... I just said- urg... Beam the captain into the holo-deck.... Computer run holo-deck simulation Roy- interrogation one..."

"Kill the rest of them, and download the computer files.... I'll be in the holo-deck."
Captain Oalk sat in the chair, the room completely dark around him, save for a overhead circle of light. He didn't know how he'd got here, they'd just finished offloading some cargo, and the next thing he knew everything was exploding, and his ship was being torn apart by weapons fire... If he got to opportunity to see his helmsman, he'd promote him- he may have acted without orders but he'd saved the ship.... At least hopefully saved the ship.
He looked right and left, scanning and listening for any movement... He'd be standing and reaching for his phaser (strangely still on him); were it not for his elbows, ankles, and fingers (spread apart on the table before him) being restrained.

Roy leaned in and whispered in his ear. "Good to see you again lover..."
Oalk's response was strangely calm, "You should've sent me a message Emma... Aren't you going to ask me why?"
The assassin leaned back to her full height even though her captive couldn't turn his head to look at her. "I don't need to why; John... What I do want to know is where the bulk of Leeta's fleet has disappeared to? You were a part of it after all, spare the trouble of making you tell me... For old times?"

"Smeg off! I know where my loyalties-"

Emma brought her dagger down between his fingers sinking the blade into the table. She turned her head looking him in his eyes. "Don't you dare speak to me of loyalty; Traitor, you have none..."

Emma retuned to her previous position, and slowly trailed her gloved palm across the captain's shoulders, as she walked past, ensuring he fingers lightly pressed into the back of his neck for a moment. "What am I going to do to you Johnanthan...?" She felt him tense- fear, finally the response she wanted- one of them anyway.

She sat down in the chair opposite him. "Michallaa, Blaise?... The woman you left me for what was- oh... Morgan. I remember now."

Oalk clenched his jaw. "My wife, has nothing to do with this!"
"Oh? You know when I told her that her husband had betrayed Terra, she refused to believe it... Said you were a victim of circumstance, then tried to send you a subspace signal.... Remind me if I'm wrong but doesn't helping a traitor make you a traitor? Her death was painless- unlike yours if you don't start talking..."

"I'll kill you Emma! I'll.. I'll.." Ben stared downwards breathing heavier.

Roy got up on the table, grabbing his hair bring his eyes to her level. "You can help your son still you know.... I am a blade and I kill whom the Emperor commands me to kill... Tell me everything you know- now."

He steeled his gaze. "You're lying."

                          She smiled, "Am I?"
                          He didn't respond.

"Still not willing to give me anything then... As you wish." Emma wrenched her dagger from the table, and began rapidly moving it up and down between his fingers, faster than the mans eyes could follow.
She cut off his left hand thumb. "That was for breaking my heart..."
Then his right index finger. "That was for betraying the Empire..."
Finally a shallow cut above his eye. "That was threatening me... Although I applaud your courage."

She cauterized do his hands. "Let's see if three days in an agony booth loosens your tongue... The Emperor wants my crew back at Sol, so I'll delay hunting your friends for now."

                          Andorian System (Mirror universe)

                          I.S.S. Blenheim, war room

Admiral Valdez had just returned from a meeting with the Andorian leadership. "Nathan, you manage to get their support?" Solat asked, "They put a clause in the deal, they want equal representation with Terrans in order for them to add their fleets to our forces so I agreed on it, Andorian Imperial Guard on the battlefield are plus to us. " Valdez reported back. " If we can get the Vulcans and Tellarites to work with us as well, it'll add to to our forces and defensive capability" Valdez said to Solat.

"Andorians are aggressive and untrustworthy, my people fought wars with them" Solat said in her cold demeanour, "That was in the past, now old enemies must become allies if we are to hold this sector" Valdez pointed out, finishing with "plus I would not mind a dozen squadrons of Andorian battle cruisers in Strike Group Inquisitor" with a smile.

"Add the Andorians to the board" asked Valdez, Solat added them to the board. "The Vulcan High Command have pledged their support to us as well, General Solux looked over your defence plan and agreed this would be the logical cause of action" Solat reported. "Good, the Vulcan fleet will be a nice addition to our forces" Valdez said with a smile.

"Add these to the board please" said Valdez, "Didn't know we were getting two Betazoid Infantry regiments" replied Solat, "Perfect choice for ground combat, you cannot hide from them and they are deadly accurate and fast. I served with Betazoids in the Liberation of Betazed and they are very good at what they do" Valdez pointed out. "Combine both regiments into a brigade and designate them the 1st Inquisitor Brigade" he finished off with.

Red Alert interrupted the strategic meeting, Valdez and Solat rushed to the bridge. A fleet of 50 traitor ships had come out of warp and were forming up for attack, Valdez formed his 20 battleships and 10 escorts into a battle line. The Andorian fleet was sent to use the gas giant's rings as cover, he did not want to reveal his reserves just yet.

"All Terran Ships form up between the the gas giant and the moon, the enemy will break on us like a wave against rocks. Escorts form a forward line to cover the battleships" Valdez ordered. All ships got into their allotted positions. Valdez sent a signal to all his ships, it read "The empire expects very soldier to do their duty"

Leading the traitor attack were the destroyers in front with heavy cruisers in support, Valdez gave the order "line abreast" and his battleships formed a firing line. "Let them get close, at 1500 metres, light those traitors up" was the next order. As the first wave of traitors got to 1500 metres, Strike Group Inquisitor opened fire with heavy broadsides shredding the destroyers as the escorts swarmed the heavy cruisers knocking them out of the fight.

"15 down, just another 35 to go" Valdez quiped. The next wave was 20 defiants & akiras, soon there were escort dogfights happening as the battleships relentlessly pounded away with their heavy broadsides knocking down ship after ship. Valdez was not having things his own way all the while, even though he was inflicting horrific losses on the traitors, he had lost 3 battleships and 4 escorts. The traitor battleships now moved forward and engaged, the entire traitor fleet was now committed to the fight and their numbers began to tell as Valdez's centre was being pushed back, Valdez gave his signal and on both flanks of the traitor fleet waves of Andorian Kumaris swept down behind the traitors.

This caused a panic in the traitor fleet as the traitor admiral tried to flee the battlefield but there was nowhere to go. Valdez counter-attacked from the front as the Andorians pushed the flank and rear of the traitor fleet into their front ranks of ships, the traitors were that tightly packed in they could not fire their own weapons without hitting each other. Valdez gave the order "witch's cauldron" and all loyalist ships fired into the pocket of traitor ships destroying them to a ship. It was a famous victory and it cemented Andorian support at the same time.

Valdez surveyed the battlefield, the battle was over now search and rescue crews were deployed to recover loyalist survivors from his 10 lost ships. Valdez noted in his after action report that most of the crews on the lost ships did evacuate before their vessels were destroyed. 50 traitor ships and 16,000 traitor soldiers had been wiped out for the loss of 6 battleships and 4 escorts with only 700 of his own soldiers killed.

Valdez opened a channel to all loyalist and allied ships, "Excellent work everyone, this is a famous victory. I want this battle broadcast empire wide, let every loyal citizen know that we will never be beaten down again". "Well fought" Solat said to Valdez. Valdez left his seat and talked to his bridge crew at their stations. "You all did what was expected of you, you should be proud" he said to his crew. "Flores, you are now my chief tactical officer with the rank of Lt, Krasnova, you are my chief helm officer with the rank of full Lt" Both Flores and Krasnova smiled, they had earned it.

Sat on the bridge watching the whole engagement was trainee first officer Trianna Valdez, at 20 years old she was the admiral's daughter and his student at the same time. "Cannae, father?" asked Cadet Valdez. "My strategy is based on ancient Terran general Hannibal Barca, Trianna" Admiral Valdez replied. "It's certainly effective" Trianna replied back. "How did our Trills do cadet?" Admiral Valdez asked. "They're doing good though they are terrified of me for some reason" replied Trianna.

"Their last CO was betazoid and it was not a pleasant experience for them, show them kindness and they will learn to trust you" Admiral Valdez replied. "Noted father" said Cadet Valdez. "As the old saying goes you cannot teach in theory what has to be practised in a storm of energy beams" Admiral Valdez finished with.

Mirror Wars 3 [III] is out.

Question for those of you who try it though.
DO you think I should add a map between the first and second map with the player journeying through the starbase towards the Enterprise?
