GPU requirement after (revamp) High-Dynamic-Range System and other fancypants

However like the crew of Planet Express, I dont feel good about it LOL
Last time I got cough pants down and couldnt log in for weeks
because old ATI GPU could not handle the Good News !


Anyone know or has experience with similair HDR improvement :

and its impact on GPU ?

Possible range of Specs?


I have a GeForce 9 serie old card. ( 9600GT )
I always play the game in minimal settings. I wonder if it is still possible after "revamp"
my pc is like rustbucket , it can not pull the workload anymore and dying slowly
would like to know if can salvage the old CPU and some parts....

Apparently the game no longer supports my video card after a patch today.

Why even bother with minimum requirements.
Lots of players have high-end PCs and still have massive performance problems in STO.

The minimal requirements cryptic published are meaningless.

Looks about right to me. Having Shadows set to Low can make some missions significantly brighter (thinking of Defend Rh'ihho Station here, wouldn't surprise me if it also affects the Elachi bases), and there's also the in-game brightness setting that you may have changed.
